Tbf City/Liverpool don’t need big windows, they’re at a point where 1 top player as the cherry on top of the cake is fine. Chelsea have had a disappointing window by their standards.

Woolwich’s has been OK considering they only managed Europa League. Ours has clearly been good but arguably overhyped early in terms of improving the XI.

Why is it overhyped in terms of improving first XI ?

If fully fit, Perisic and Bissouma are absolutely nailed on starters. Last season we did not have capable attacking RWB in our books, and we got one. So it could well be that Spence plays into starting XI as well over the course of the season.

Additionally players like Skipp and Doherty had significant injuries. With them being back + additions that are not straight into starting XI will improve the options to rest players. Which will improve their pertofmane levels = improve the first XI.

So let's name things with right names - some inpatient lads are just whining because it has been few days from the last signing and they want new shiny toys.

Life is not a footie manager where you buy new starting XI with one window. To have 1 player from last summer (Romero), 2 from winter window (Kulu and Benta) and 2 from this summer (Perisic and Bissouma) means that within 14 months we have improved 45% of starting XI .. In a situation where at least 2 players in the team are untouchable and we would not get improvements from anywhere for any sort of money (so basically we have upgraded 55% of "mortals") - it is fairly impressive.

Probably pointing out the complete obvious here, but surely with Rodon gone and Tanganga on the verge, I'd like to think we're gonna be in for another defender.

I feel like we can't bring anyone else in, especially midfielder/attacking midfielder wise until we get rid of a few which is why I think it's gone quiet on the incomings.
Perhaps Royal to cover RCB?

So we have signed six players this window and 2 in last January window which all of them are more than likely gonna improve our squad and fans on this forum are not at all happy with our transfer window and saying we need more players. Do we not know anything called role players every squad has and need them this is just ridiculous

No point saying this mate. I completely agree with you, but those who want to moan will always find a reason.

I’m looking forward to the weekend!

They still need to put in a squad of 25 do they not? I could be wrong but I don't think you get free reign on squad selection til then - you put in your squad list then can ammend it based on incomings/outgoings etc.
No I don't think so, nobody is registered or unregistered until the end of the TW as far as I can recall, it's basically like the domestic cups until then, with anyone and everyone owned by the club available to choose from.

I could be mistaken but if I recall did we not reach an agreement with Serge to terminate his contract so he could go anywhere he chose? We could do that again

His contract had a year left, was on £70k a week so essentially paid him £3.5 to get him off the books, bit different to ripping up Lo Celso's, Reguilon's, Winks and Ndombele's contracts, we're talking players who have 2/3 years left and in Ndombele's case signifigantly more money than what Serge was on - you're talking most probably throwing away around £80m.

Say it quietly, but WH are doing better work than Chelsea and United and possibly even Woolwich.
Not really. If Chelsea end up with Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella, De Jong(?), another good cb and Chukwaemeka(for the future) that's a better window than most in the PL.

Woolwich have had a decent window. Jesus and Zinchenko both strengthen that first XI, Saliba coming back is great for them.

United I'd agree with you, but Ars and Che have brought in multiple players who'll improve the XI and will be high level PL players.. don't think any West Ham signing provides that guarantee.
