Inter are a huge club. They were my first love and they have had enormous players throughout their history and won a LOT.

People here sometimes act surprised that players love inter or like spurs are a bigger club because now we have more money but since we last won a trophy they have won… 3 league titles, 3 Italian cups, 1 champions league, and the fifa club World Cup. And reached a Europa league final.

They’ve won as much in 14 years as we’ve won since 1980. I’m not having a go at us but you can’t even compare the two clubs.
They’re historically a great club .. I’ve a lot of respect

It’s no surprise to me players wanting to go there and stay there ….,it is maybe a surprise just how much

What are we then…. Some kind of rebound fuck ?

Yeah that makes the point even stronger. I was counting major trophies only (domestic or continental cups and league titles) but not distinguishing between an FA cup and a league title.

Inter are a historically massive club. Along with AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona… only Liverpool and maybe Manchester United have an equivalent historic super club status in the U.K. No club in France has it.

It’s not everything because the nouveau riche can pay big bucks but it counts for a lot for many players.
Under doubt, I would like to include Ajax. Together with Barca, no European club has created so many top-class academy players and influenced football as much (i.e. Rinus Michels & Johan Cruijff). And they were the 1st club to win the European cup (now CL) 3 x in a row.

Yep that’s fair. Ajax also a big club who can attract players above and beyond their financial means. 00s we’re a bit dark for them but otherwise present across many decades and consistently producing top class players.

Best academy set up in Europe ? Probably.
