Milan, and the Lakes to the North (Orta-Varese-Maggiore-Como-Garda) are simply stunning. Food, wine, culture, weather (four proper seasons) are unbeatable. I’m a Londoner by birth but if I could live anywhere else it would be there.

Edit: and there’s the coffee. Someone once told me the reason Italians don’t travel is that they can’t get a proper cup of espresso overseas.
Hmmm I might start supporting them if the extra carricula is that amazing so will it Nero Azurri o Nero Rossi

Hmmm… Rice was released at 14 by Chelsea. Is that a compliment to the academy? Yes and no I guess. Like saying Woolwich are responsible for Kane. Dodgy ground.

Chelsea rival Ajax for players playing in the top 5 leagues. But if we’re talking, top class players for champions league teams or super clubs then Ajax are ahead.

Vert, Toby, Eriksen, de Ligt, de Jong, Gravenberch… this is top class talent in remarkable numbers wanted by best teams in the world… that’s not the same as Tomori or Lamptey.
Who is grave berg and who does he play for? De light is a shambles, Tomori plays for Milan the Italian champions

Ajax is incredible but Chelsea have a great academy too - albeit probably paid for Russian blood money. Let’s see if they still attract the best talent without that financial drip.

Kane was released at 8or 9 no? Not comparable to rice either

We were 'linked' to Viera 24 hours before they signed him. Hadnt been a single story prior to that. Certainly smacks of them attempting to score points or perhaps agents trying to speed things up by scaring them into paying whats needed. Given the same crap happening again I expect Jesus to sign for them early next week and not fussed if he does.
The sad thing is that their fanbase actually laps it up - they were busy gaslighting themselves that they were never interested in Bissouma the moment we signed him.
:sonpoint:

Ive been. Good few times. I agree

But that isn’t the reason footballers are tied to Milan’s apron strings

The Spanish say the same thing … I’m sure South Americans do ….. you can get great coffee everywhere

I know I drink cupfuls of the stuff and I’m unbelievably fussy

These random twitter users know fuck all. I don’t think those should be posted here.

You Dont Say The Big Lebowski GIF

Hakimi situ sounds dodgy too....

- Sold to PSG for £60m
- Like Lukaku, he wants out after 1 season to go back to where he came from.
- Deal now rumoured to be £40m + Skriniar even though they were valuing Skriniar at 70m euro (£60m)
I was reading the other day that Inter would pay only 5m for the loan fee and part of his wages

(which is kinda contradictory anyway but maybe it’s an accounting move)

Who the fuck pays 10m quid for lukaku for a year

I don’t know if it’s crooked or just plain dumb

Good point well made …. I think it generates clicks both sides

Inter are a huge club. They were my first love and they have had enormous players throughout their history and won a LOT.

People here sometimes act surprised that players love inter or like spurs are a bigger club because now we have more money but since we last won a trophy they have won… 3 league titles, 3 Italian cups, 1 champions league, and the fifa club World Cup. And reached a Europa league final.

They’ve won as much in 14 years as we’ve won since 1980. I’m not having a go at us but you can’t even compare the two clubs.
And if there's a city made for a millionaire lifestyle it is Milan.
