Solid from what I've seen of him this season. Has a great engine and can put in a decent ball. Not the quickest.
I haven't seen Bologna play this season but I noticed that Luis Binks has started 4 games +6 as a sub so far this season. He's a left-footed CB and a former Spurs player.
Has anyone seen him play for Bologna and, if so, what's your impression of him and his teammate, Aaron Hickey?

I've watched Bologna live a handful of times this year, the rest I saw the extended highlights.
When I saw Binks' name I sort of remembered him from his time at Spurs. It was fun - and somehow pleasing - to see him turn up in Serie A. Even though Bologna are bang average, fair play to him who's got no pedigree for managing a few starts there. He's not the worst I've seen in Serie A to be fair, and he's still very young so lots of room to improve, especially if/when he joins a better team. But I wouldn't bring him home, he'd never get a game at Spurs. I'd rather we give Rodon a chance...heck, even Carter-Vickers.
Aaron Hickey is playing far more regularly, he's playing well and scoring goals. He gets good reviews in the Italian footy media, defo seen as "one to watch". But he's still very raw and bar his running and goals, he doesn't produce much. But then again he's only 19, still very new to Italy & Serie A, and yeah Bologna are rubbish. I wouldn't sign him but I'd watch that space. I reckon even if Bologna stay up, he'll go to a fancier team. Wouldn't be surprised if either Celtic or Rangers brought him home, or if he joined a mid/lower mid table PL team.

It don't matter he's Chelsea. They wouldn't sell to us.

I have a base about an hour from Oostende, so I've been aware of him for a wee while and I also know some KV fans who've told me more about him. He had a terrific first pro season there...played nearly all the games and scored 3 or 4 goals I think it was. KV finished 5th and had a pretty solid defence.
Bologna came in for him last summer and offered a 1mil loan followed by a 5.5mil transfer this summer...for a club like Oostende, that's a lot of money. And the player wanted to go so not much choice.
He's doing well in Italy...he's playing regularly, he has a good engine and decent technique so he often brings the ball out of defence and runs up & down the left-hand side channel, he can pass, he gets the odd goal and he's alright defensively. Needs to be a lot stronger in duels, though, especially as he's not a small lad. I think he's definitely playing his part in Bologna having an okay season.
AC Milan are rumored to be in for him as they wanna keep refreshing their squad. Personally, I'd let them have him. He's still pretty raw and there are question marks over his attitude. He's said to be the kind that really loves to watch himself play. Not gonna get better now he's being picked for Belgium (well, got one cap) and if he joined AC.
He's a Southampton player and not just on loan from Chelsea. But they do have a buy back clause so the moment that we came sniffing they would just activate it sadly enough.
Yep. Even if they didnt want him they'd buy him back and sell to someone else within a year. Its amazing how some people still arent aware of the antipathy between our 2 clubs. Since they poached Arnesen in 2005 i think only Cudicini has moved between the clubs and that was a free transfer. If they can screw us over in any way they will and to be fair vice versa.

did raise a very good point. Woolwich was seemingly ready throw buckets of cash at Vlahovic but still didn’t get him. So not having Levy as a chairman, and having the cash needed at the start of a window still doesn’t guarantee you get the player. Which quite frankly shouldn’t need to be explained, how some struggle with is beyond me.
Using Levy as an excuse for everything just takes the focus away from issues he’s actually got a hand in.

For Diaz? Nobody, he had his mind set on going to Liverpool, who had previous shown interest in him. All reports indicate that we offered up the money.
Traore, maybe if the club acted a bit more decisive he’d be playing for spurs. But based on nothing at all I get the feeling the the club wasn’t sure on him. He ended up going to Barca, his boyhood club, while also taking a pay cut. So very unlikely it was due to Levy being a tightarse.
Spurs are a big club, but let’s not pretend we have the same pull as Barca, even when they’re skint.

From what it sounds like Mendes is the one who fucked us over with Diaz. The second spurs met his valuation Liverpool had no option but to match it, or accept he wasn’t going to join us
You clearly read news very selectively
1 Spurs had made an offer for Grealish which Villa owner said he would agree to, but as they were selling the club there was an agreement not to sell any assets/players (standard practice on sale of a company). Sale was completed faster than anyone expected and new owner said 'not interested in £25m for Grealish when getting to PL is worth £300m to us, and we need Grealish to get there'. All that carried in full by Birmingham press at the time.
2 Traore had said he wanted to return to his boyhood club, Barcelona, so when Spurs bid, Barcelona were alerted and came in with a similar bid which player preferred. No way wre Spurs ever going to win in that situation.
3. Diaz had a bid accepted but Liverpool came in with a similar bid - strong rumours that was instigated by Mendes - and player preferred Liverpool
