Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

How do you know for sure? I am not saying I know. It may not be legal as it may count as 3rd party ownership but then again didn't Spurs' 50 % ownership transfer over to Sporting when he was sold to them by Vitoria...
What if Chelski can veto a sale to Spurs and/or simply offer the fee stipulated in the contract.
One thing is for sure: they do not want an ex-Chelksi player to excel at Spurs.
Our third party ownership rules are fairly strict, that veto 100% would not be allowed. They may put soft pressure on southampton as they have got a fair few players from them but if caught they would be in all sorts of bother.

Apparently there's been noise that would allow non Russian players in Russia suspend their contract and play elsewhere. That's just a glorified loan outside of the the window though.

I think this situation might really show up who on twitter/forums has any real intel, as I simply cannot see any governing body around the world allowing any money to go to a Russian football team.

Maybe clarify that you don't only think he's brilliant because of that half against City when you saw him then ;)

I'm sure over the years Spurs have bought players who played well against us.

Maybe just apologise for getting it wrong. What is it with people like you and not being able to apologise when blatantly wrong.

Check your ego, and shut up.

Call me controversial, but Doherty has stepped up and formed a good partnership with Kulu.

I think if it were Traore, it wouldn't be as good due his lack of final ball.
I agree.

Adama needs a lot of touches on the ball to be effective. Doherty is the opposite in that he is as we have seen in recent games, the most effective when he has fewer touches on the ball, and instead uses his movement patterns to open space for quick interplay with Deki as well as creating space for Deki to operate in.

The majority of Doherty's touches are either quick passes or driving runs towards the box. He doesn't need to hog the ball or dribble, something which Adama does.

If we signed Adama and had him replace Doherty he would eat up the amount of time that Dejan has the ball, which would also make Dejan less effective.

He plays in basically the same position as Son, so I doubt if there is anything in this to be honest.
Possible Bergwijn replacement and long term Son heir perhaps?

Granted, this is a rumour out of Turkey, we're linked to 2-3 Turkish player every summer but nothing happens. I guess the Turkish press likes ramping up interest to make the league look bigger.

Like the Turkish business magnate who claimed that he was buying Chelsea, but "accidentally sent the bid to the wrong email adress" so he missed the deadline.
