Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have nothing but weaknesses and zero strengths.

If we don't totally make over our dogshit MF then the transfer window will have been a waste of time, although we all know it will be a waste with Paratici and Levy running things.

we just win 5-1 and this is your feelings.

Football is not for you, we are likely never to attain a Harlem Globetrotter team, you seem to feel is your right to expect.

I know Kulu is the flavour of the week and people want to badly overrate but he is mediocre at best. Better than what we had but nowhere close to the level of the players on the top teams.

I like Bentancur and Skipp but they offer zero creativity, zero goals and we don’t have the players elsewhere to make up for this.

Seriously, what an epic twat.

We have seen greats like VdV make less (or about the same) immediate impact…

Man Utd are for you mate… maybe Chelsea? Spurs? Naaaaaa

Totally keep saying this his been great for Leeds and HG as well. Always pops in the box as well. I’d like us to look at players with PL experience rather than keep going foreign. Harrison , Phillips, Bissoma, may perira from Leicester, podence, Ruben, etc. these players would generally be able to hit the ground running no need for acclimatising to new country.
Harrison at LWB? Or to replace Son?

It's headlines like that that make one wonder whether some of those jornous actually know much about football at all...
Harrison and Traore play in different positions - one being left-footed and the other right-footed - so buying would not negate buying the other...
Not saying Spurs will buy him but I am kinda warming up to the idea of having Harrison as LWB.

If it's the Express or Star then it's always bollocks.
But if we swapped Royal and Reggie for Harrison and Traore then I would be a very happy bunny.

Makes a lot of sense to replace Gollini with this guy. Ups our home grown quota, be a decent backup keeper and is on a free transfer. We have too many areas to strengthen to go overboard on a backup keeper, so this is a perfect transfer for us.
He also has a fairly similar profile to Lloris apparently. Which is good. That means that we can work on him similarly to how we work Hugo and maybe he can grow into at least a stop gap replacement once Hugo goes.

I keep seeing this rumour.........

How good is he? should we on this as a CM option or should we be aiming higher?

Aston Villa will push for a £60m move for Leeds United's England midfielder Kalvin Phillips, 26, this summer. (Telegraph - subscription)

Let me get this straight..

Lucas Moura can score and assist in games and you still say he's had a bad game.

Kulusevski can score and assist and you say he's not good.

Lo Celso can literally not score AND assist and you still say he's the most creative player years later.

You make absolutely zero sense and literally nobody thinks you're being serious with your posts. I very much doubt you're even a spurs fan.

You do not have it right at all.

Maybe read what I actually write rather than making shit up in your tiny little head.

We won 5-1 largely on the basis of our opponents that should not change reality.

We are struggling to make 4th with incredibly weak competition for the spot after finishing 6th and 7th the past two seasons. It is clear that our squad is riddled with weaknesses which is why we struggle with consistency and have had poor results.

Keep living in delusion if you think this squad is close to good enough for anything than continued mediocre results.

Kinda think we have that box ticked by PEH & Skipp now.

Someone to share duties/game-time with Bantancur would be wiser.......

Unless we're going for 352; in which case I'd bag Eriksen AND one of Bissouma(tbc*)/Phillips/Nevez.

(£60m seems expensive, but you're buying HG, EPL-proven international approaching prime years.... All of which come at a premium.)

I think Bissouma would be an incredible signing a midfield 4 of Bissouma, Skipp, Hojbjerg and Bentancur would be unreal. Bissouma as well as being quite a destructive defensive player is also very good on the ball.

Great player.

Obv has to get past the other "Issue".

When would we expect to know the outcome of that?
