i said ages ago even before we signed him that he is not rw going foward if we are signing him to play there i dont want us too

now if its to play behind kane i can see the logic

but for me we need a pacey rw like a diaz

Kulu at #10 would be a disaster IMO. In that role you want a player who can receive a ball and progress up the pitch as quickly as possible. Kulu would be crowded out, he wants too much time and he doesn't have physical attributes where he can make up for a lack of speed of thought.

We have the same issues with Kane, except Kane is a far better passer than Kulu. They'd just get in each others way by occupying similar positions.

we should not sign him then would be 35 mill down the drain

Now now Todd, we're finally agreeing on something!

Igula Igula Was great. I don't know why he got banned (he did, right?) for having unpopular opinions.
Iggy's just in the sin bin (I believe). He has to periodically blow his top in order to keep warm where he is. It's understandable.

The truth is he is firm in his opinion and folks don't like that. I used to be that way but now I just let their wrong show and then gleefully remind them (and remind them...and remind them...and remind them) of our respective positions. Don't worry though as I won't leave you out of the fun...we've got some Bruno to attend to.

I love Kane (as you uh .. know) but he's a flawed player. I've never pretended he's anything but, aside from perhaps in my most fanatical moments. He's a wonderful passer of a ball but can be nullified tactically because like Kulu, he lacks certain attributes key to escaping the attention of players marking him. We went through the same period last season where he was excellent as a distributor, teams cottoned on and we had a nasty period where we sort of refused to adjust to it.

It wouldn't be a big issue as almost all players are flawed and can be stopped in some way, but it becomes one when our entire front 3 currently struggle in certain tactical situations. We're incredibly one dimensional and it's leading to us either destroying teams who play one way, or looking utterly toothless against those who play differently. I don't believe signing Kulusevski helps remedy that situation, and since I view that as the biggest issue at the club, I don't really want him signed.

+1

Igula Igula and todd1882 todd1882 , both highly respected, have made strong coherent cases against Kuluveski.
