I'm hugely suspicious of transfers that involve young top class Italian players leaving serie A. Not the Gollini's proper footballers. Its rare hence why I said De Vrij
Would take him in a heartbeat. I think with the likes of Sosa/Kostic you might get more end product if all goes well.. but Cucurella is a talented enough player to score/assist and we've already seen that he's technically and physically a great fit for the PL. Would be a very strong upgrade on Reguilon and Sessegnon.
Can play in a back 3 too. Aggressive, good engine and excellent on the ball.
Only downside is lack of goalthreat

I don't know about his end product, I feel like he plays a more expasive role for Brighton, covering the middle third of the pitch more than either the defensive or final third.
Either way, he looks far more technically proficient than Reguilon and is PL proven. The latter is an important point. Doherty aside, we've generally at least got what we paid for with PL buys, unlike expensive foreign duds.

From what I've seen, he's a well rounded CM, similar to Bentancur, but likes to get up the pitch like PEH. Unlikely to be a future superstar.
The fatarse needs to lose a lot of weight though.
