Leicester City out of europe - and will not be in europe next season.

Interestingly they had an 85% wages to revenue ratio in their 2021 results - one of the highest going despite hat being one of their best going (so high revenues) - so without europe can they afford such a big squad without european revenue.

Leicester have a large squad, not necessarily stars but some good solid players who could upgrade our squad, and even a few first team players.

Do we think we might have conversations to see if they want to sell :

Youri Tielemans (age 24) - CM, one year left on contract so definitely off this summer. £30m ?
James Justin (age 24) - RWB/LWB, In line for their club's PoS last season before an ACL, but back playing for 3 months. Wold help our HG position and free up an overseas trained place if we sold Royal

etc.

Definitely not Tielemans. Not sure about Justin (not seen enough of him) but I'd take Fofana if he's properly mended.

Malo Gusto, (turning 19 in mid-May), has become a regular at Lyon and's one of the most promising RB/RWB around. Now that Livramento is out for most of next season, Gusto would be my 1st choice RWB. But he won't come cheap and I doubt Spurs would have much of a chance in getting him as bigger/richer clubs are sniffing around.

Who in their right minds are going to pay £70m?! Oh, hang on, someone paid £100m for Grealish. Anyway, if that's the price Wolves want then I rather pass.
Neves sure is among the CM I'd like to see at Spurs but not for more than around £40m

Ruben Neves keen to join Premier League club if Wolves decide to sell £70m-rated midfielder this summer amid interest from Manchester United, Woolwich, Barcelona and Juventus

  • Wolves are ready to demand about £70million for Ruben Neves this summer
  • The Portugal international has been Wolves' best outfield player this term
  • The 25-year-old midfielder has two years remaining on his contract at Molineux

Ruben Neves would prefer to stay in the Premier League if he leaves Wolves this summer with the club ready to demand about £70million for their star midfielder.

The Portugal international has been Wolves best outfield player this term, with the club’s bid to qualify for European football next season hampered by his recent six-week absence due to injury.

Sportsmail understands that if Neves, 25, departs Molineux, his preference would be to remain in England.

They'll manage to bleed Utd. for 70m if there's legit interest from elsewhere too.

It will always be a player+cash deal for a player like Neves. Only a dumb club like ManU would plonk 70m in cash for a player from wolves. And this time manU isn't even that attractive since it may miss Europe altogether, Neves won't be short of suitors in CL and EL

Would be typical United to spend 70m on Neves or 100m+ on Rice. Rate both players (Though think Neves is a tad overhyped, but still good) but their values are massively inflated and they won't be a quick fix for them at all.

They're a club who took great pride in telling other clubs how brave they will be in the market and how they have loads and loads of money. And predictably every club since them has rinsed them for every penny they can get.

I think Wolves will be kicking themselves over Jota's fee, so (as we saw with Traore) I expect them to hard-ball over future fees.... Saw the same with Southampton after the first raid by the dippers.

Proven PL cm and only 25. I think whatever united pay for him, he undoubtedly improves them by 1 or 2 places in the league. He is better than all of our ones.

This is not a flex.

He's a good PL cm for sure, for 40/50m he's a good signing. But even United have a limited budget and when they spend 70/80m on a good PL cm they then limit other areas they can improve. There are midfielders out there as good as Neves for half the price and other teams unearth those.

For United's money even if they're terrible run they will usually be up there, but their aim (long term) should be to get to Liverpool and City's level, they should already be there with their resources and being a PL side.

Watching Brighton v Utd, and I really like the look of that Marc Cucurella. Prem proven and only 23 years old as well.
Will be super expensive. Hopefully we can get the deal done. He has that la liga touch that I expected Reguillon to have.

Good first touch 9/10 times, and a consistent pass which allows the game to flow. Unlike squirrely Reguilon and scared puppy Sessegnon.
