Anyone know much about this Anthony Gordon fella from Everton? They must really be struggling with FFP if they're selling a home grown England U21 international. What the hell did they spend all that money on? Their team is bad.

Spence and Lenglet in this week hopefully then maybe a CB and AM

Watched another few clips of Spence yesterday, yes he's raw but he's exciting!

Has Walker's pace but arguably with better feet. Obv he's not at Walker's level but there's a special player here hope we get it wrapped up asap.

Added benefit of being home grown too.

Is he a London lad?

Really good player. Insanely quick and very aggressive both in defence and attack, plays wide for Everton, probably not there yet in terms of goal output but every time I have watched him he has covered well in defence and caused the opposition issues with his pace and dribbling.

They spunked a fortune on Richarlison, Siggurdson, Iwobi, Gomes, Mina, Bolasie and plenty more.
Lot's of £20m+ players and quite a few for £30m+ and even £40m+ for a team that usually finishes bottom half, has no Europe and 18 months of empty stadiums.
And so far, out of all of those, Richarlison is the only one to get the money back

Clement Lenglet will leave Barça in the next few hours. Today there is a summit meeting between Barça, Tottenham and the player's entourage to finalise the player's contract with an agreement between the clubs already closed at the expense of the centre-back giving the green light to the operation. Lenglet, who spoke to Tottenham boss Antonio Conte, was hesitating but finally gave his arm in the opposite direction last Friday and now it is a question of squaring all the figures because the Blaugrana club wants to save the whole of the player's salary.

If nothing strange happens, the transfer should be made official in the next few hours. The French centre-back has not yet presented himself for medical checks at Barça as he is on leave, as is the case with some of his other team-mates. Riqui Puig and Neto, who had permission, have gone to the sports city, but Lenglet will not be in Barcelona but the idea is that he will join Tottenham training immediately.

The loan will be for a single season and the option to buy will be worth more than ten million euros. Lenglet, finally, has decided to join a Champions League team where he will be an undisputed starter. The Frenchman was waiting for another option such as Juventus to come up, but the market is at a standstill and he has opted to give Tottenham the OK after Conte's sporting interest. He will have minutes, he will be able to revalue himself and he will gain options to play the World Cup in Qatar with France if his performance is optimal.

One year loan with option to buy at 10m euros, probably low to reflect his high wages, of which Spurs will pay about 60% during loan.

Great way to 'try before you buy' an experienced French international CB who can cover LCB and CCB

I'm aware that this may be a foolish perspective. However, I have been thinking whether or not Conte may consider moving Kulusevki to AM/CAM? He is not a stranger to the position and has all the attributes to succeed there when required (low blocks). Could this move our attention away from a creative midfielder to another forward?

I think he and Kane can both do that role but that role is redundant in a 343.
IF Conte decides in game or for the odd game to play 352, I'd rather use one of those 2 in "CAM" role than sign a player who can only play that role to sit on the bench for large swathes of the season.

It's not that crazy.

Seems more plausible than the talk of him playing WB.

Started in Fulham's academy, before moving to Boro aged 18

Not really...more like wing-backs and left center-backs, while "creative midfielder" is more like a side note.

They're not really buzzwords because they're critical in the Conte 343 system and our obvious weak area,
The reason I say this "CAM" is a buzzword is that it's constantly banded about by fans but, in reality, unlikely to be high on the list for the actual coach of the team.
