Sorry I forgot.

All our rivals signings are shit, ours are amazing, and we're about to romp home to the quadruple. COYS COY COYS.

Top post! Well said.

Where did I say that Conte was “plotting against someone or intentionally screwing one over”

Stop twisting posts and basically lying

No twisting, no lying.

Come out and explain what the fuck does "he hasn’t been given a fair chance" mean?

For every reasonable reader it means that if he did not get FAIR CHANCE it means that someone was UNFAIR to him.

Which is absolutely absurd. He walked onto training pitch equal to next lad every day.
In every such session he had equal chance to prove that he is better defender than Sanchez, Tanganga, Dier or Romero.

He did not.
Because he is not good enough.

There is absolutely nothing unfair about it. Yet you implied it very obviously.

Obviously know we can change it - but pretty sure in previous years we’ve put our squad out before the first game online.

Sorry I forgot.

All our rivals signings are shit, ours are amazing, and we're about to romp home to the quadruple. COYS COY COYS.
No point trying to arguing with him. He is a no-lifer who twist people words just to fit his narrative, and will keep spamming till the end of days. Absolutely waste of time, that's why i ignore him long time ago.
Most people on here are Levy ***** riders and overrate our team and every signing we make and at the same time underrate every signing of our rivals. They don't even use basic logic. There is still people crying about Liverpool and how they will lose ao much with Mane gone, and that Nunez not going to compensate and all that b. c. that just shows you how little they know about football and are bias as hell. Stupid as well. Liverpool get Mane replacement last winter in Diaz, but some people on here still don't get it.
We still going to have 4-6 best team in the league, depends what United and Woolwich do.
We can do better cause we have world class manager, but he ain't god.

If they end up with everyone on that list, it would be the best window of any team in the PL wouldn't it.. surely?

Well, that is very simplified view.
I would say no to that statement.

Cause at the same time they have lost Rüdiger, Christensen, Lukaku and also Saul loan ended.
There still might be many outgoings like Alonso, Azpi, Barkley, Werner, Ziyech + less played lads like Michy and Kepa.

I mean it is quite obvious that if you even bring in Koulibaly, Cucurella but lose Rüdiger, Christensen, Alonso and Azpi - then you have lost WHOLE BACK FOUR and brought on what - one CB who has 0 experience in EPL and one promising yet unfinished fullback?!? That is very clearly step back.

Not to mention that Silva, Jorginho, Kante have only 12 months left on their contracts.

I would not be surprised at all if Chelsea will fall to pieces this year, I am talking about finishing place 6th or 7th. Of course they might stay strong as well. But to me it is like 40-60 situation.

Once more - I am quite sure that looking at their previous summer you would have guessed that Lukaku + Saul would also improve them significantly... but we all saw what happened.

You absolute clown. Learn what banter is.

Deuterz Deuterz knows it wasn't serious.

Lets get this straight - nobody here likes or respects you. You are pointless and you offer nothing to this forum. You're about as wanted as monkeypox.

Now, fuck off and mind your own business.

The post in question was about a hypothetical where they sign another top cb & De Jong on top of Cucurella, it wasn't about Chelsea's current transfer window which wouldn't be close to the best.

Anyhow like I said to Airfixx Airfixx this is probably best for the 'other team transfers' thread or w/e.

For me the fact that Conte is happy with the window tells me all I need to know.
I'm guessing you also believed Poch when he said he was happy with every transfer window he ever had? Even the ones where we signed nobody

Or Jose when he said he was happy with the Rodon / Doherty / Hart window

Do you also believe in fairies, by any chance? 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️

Speaking only for myself, I view goals and assists as being perhaps the hardest thing for a player to add to their game, and the easiest thing to lose. Most of the time they've either got it or they don't.
Speaking for myself (but it should be for everyone), 'goals' are not an intrinsic quality of a player as in a FIFA game. What a player scores within one team dynamic will not necessarily transfer to another team dynamic. Sess hasn't lost the ability to score, he's lost the ability to goal hang and be afforded that freedom...just like Dele.

But if we let him hang out in the left halfspace and poach at the back post he'd be knocking them in and 80% of the folks on this board would be talking "world class". Instead we are stuck appreciating his truly intrinsic qualities which are minimal and/or shit...IMVHO.

No player will be "given a fair chance". Every player has to earn one.

That's what they do on the training field every day. He could not. so he is moved on.

Laughable to state that Conte would even have time to plot against someone or intentionally screwing one over.

Truth is - he is just not good enough.

‘Given a fair chance’

Does not mean ‘plotting against someone nor does it mean ‘intentionally screwing one over’

That’s quite basic and simple and it’s telling that a dullard like you can’t understand it

Now fuck off and troll someone else

Does anyone think we should just pay the 60M for Maddison? I think he would be the player to bring this window to a 9 or 10/10 and he plays a position that we really need filled. I’m not to worried about playing the City’s and Pools of the world because I think our system is really well setup for that, it’s the last 10 mins of the park the bus teams when we’re at nil all that worries me. I don’t see a player in our team who can come off the bench that can make a decent enough impact. Maddison could be that player. He’s also HG so two birds and all that

Hi guys, Spurs fan here in peace! Juts dropped by to get some thoughts and opinions on how Chelsea are going to do this season, any fresh ITK on whether Chelsea are close to signing anyone? Some Chelsea team news perhaps? Too soon to start posting predicted Chelsea lineups for the first game is it? Maybe just some Chelsea training pics then, any been released???

Not really. If Chelsea end up with Sterling, Koulibaly, Cucurella, De Jong(?), another good cb and Chukwaemeka(for the future) that's a better window than most in the PL.

Woolwich have had a decent window. Jesus and Zinchenko both strengthen that first XI, Saliba coming back is great for them.

United I'd agree with you, but Ars and Che have brought in multiple players who'll improve the XI and will be high level PL players.. don't think any West Ham signing provides that guarantee.

I don't think there's any guarantee's in football with transfers.
I like the look of the WH signings as they don't scream out loud but they don't look like poor buys by any means. They're solid, top 6 players with the physicality to play PL football and especially for a team coached by Moyes. I think they'll be top 7 again this year and I can see them being comfortably better than United, especially if Ronaldo goes.
Chelsea haven't yet signed Cucurella or Chukwaemeka. I'm sure they'll both do really well..........at barcelona

How does that work?

If you terminate their contracts all you're doing is paying out their salary in a lump sum.

Also paying off contracts just because the club might not see them as assets is bad business, one man's trash and all that...
Agreed. And what happens if Perisic and Sess are both injured? Likewise if Bissouma, Hoj, etc are injured we could use Winks in a pinch.

Also I think it's unlikely Lo Celso and Ndombele will turn things around at this stage, but you never know.
