I agree with you about midfield. We need to control possession more and dictate play. Can see one or two more arriving before window shuts if we ship out the deadwood.
Would be a huge upgrade at RWB and very good cover in the wide forward areas too.
We would be well stocked with him and Spence as our RWB future and can bin off Emerson and Doc.
A pirlo type midfielder who's a dead ball specialist is what we need imo.
How many years of running about and falling over without doing anything before you accept that game was the exception and not the rule?
Gotta say, I don’t see it with this lad. Decent, sure but not the generational talent being discussed. Could be wrong.
We all love Lucas for that hat-trick, but it IS the anomaly. Well I know he also did it against Huddersfield but that's it. He's not doing it in finals, is he? Hasn't repeated the feat. It was a fluke, as was our entire run to the final. He's a legend for it but it doesn't make him class.
What are we waiting for? Him to be good?

I think it depends what you want him for. For Everton he plays more like a wing back than winger maybe because Everton are shit and play deep.
His skillset is agression, speed (quicker than TAA) dribbling, tackling and ball carrying. He attributes are that of a Reece James more than a Son or Mane. If Conte, Paratici and the scouts want him obviously they have a reason why.
He’s not a RWB. He could be but he’s always played as an out and out attacker
