Transfers Summer 2022 Transfer Thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yes I do actually.

Very similar low budget, safe, consolidation transfers. (Bar the somewhat bizarre expenditure of 60 mil on Richarlison) The only position you could argue for 100% that we have strengthened is LWB.

No transfer that really screams ambition or trying to really push the boat out.

Just my opinion.

60m (overpaying?) for a player Conte obviously wanted for his 'tool kit' even though he may start plenty of games on the bench..... Is that not the epitome of backing a manager?

Even if you insist not, such extravagance is the exact opposite of what your kin will insist Levy is like.... Despite this you insist it's the 'same old same old'.

I am so glad we have a manager who literally has the bald one by the short and curlies. I honestly think under any other manager, Levy would rid of Gil and most likely leave us short. Conte shooting that warning is fabulous

Your best imitation of Putin yet - lying for lying sake
Nobody (or may be one which I haven't seen gave the window 10 out of 10 .

26 people (10%) see the poll. How wildly wrong could you be? :sonpoint:

Your time to admit you made a fool of yourself with your slanderous accusations :vdvshh:

How old was Dembele when he came here? And was playing for Fulham.
Around same age. That’s my point. I don’t think he’ll be another Mousa.
Dembele was bossing top teams off the park before he joined us. You cannot say the same about Bissouma.

And again I repeat, I like Bissouma. But to argue he’s this massive upgrade on the midfield like some are is, at the present time, pre mature I would say.

It’s actually quite staggering when you put it like that. Even the same type of player in each position!

-An old, experienced cheap English back up keeper.
-A mostly very highly regarded left wing back (let’s hope Perisic proves a better buy than Regi)

A good thing, no??????

I guess as per below Perisic would be more warmly received by you if he cost 30m too.

-A solid mid table premier league midfielder for relatively cheap.

FFS..... Bissouma has been one of the best CMs on the league over the last couple of seasons...... If we got him for cheap that's a good thing.

- a Brazilian number 9.

Now 'funnily' the massive disparity in price-tags sudden means nothing when it suits..... Pfffff.

- a cheap second/third/fourth choice option at Centre Back.

Pretty much the only difference of any substance is the wild card of Bale in 2020.

"Substance"??????

In light of the above; you are taking the piss!

Any downplaying of Perisic, Bissouma & Richarlison is simply bogus.

Bissouma was/is much more highly regarded than Hojbjerg ever was. Perisic has been one of the bigger names in football for years and scored 8 whilst assisting 7 for one of Europe's biggest clubs, so again a much more reputable player than Reguilon, who was more on the highly regarded prospect tier.

And you can't compare Vinicius to Richarlison just because of nationality. One has zero Brazil caps, the other starts for them upfront & has been a top PL player for years. I'm not as enamoured with this window as some, but I don't see the point in pretending it's not a significant upgrade on 19/20.

There is no point.... Only bitter agendas.

Agree.

Interesting to see who our main targets are to cover for Gil and Tanganga and if we manage to get them over the line.

I reckon we'll get a couple more loan-to-buys from Serie A, seems to be Paratici's wheelhouse.

Where did I say it wasn’t a good thing? Perisic is a good signing for sure, but he would have been more warmly received had wesigned him 5 years ago (you saw him hobble off against Wolves holding his hammie, his minutes will have to be managed) hardly ideal when our back up is Sessengnon.

That’s your opinion of Bissouma. I don’t share it. He’s good, but would he get it Liverpool, City Chelsea teams? No. He’s a solid signing. Not a signing to really make us challenge I would argue.

Richarlison is a decent signing. Adds good back up and decent flexibility up front. He’ll come on and shake things up but does he improve the team in a massive way? I would argue no.

You we’re probably one of the ones arguing the excellent nature of signings like Doherty et al in 2020 but hence, here we are.

LOL..... Love Moussa, but this is bollocks...... Fulham bossing the top teams?

In his 3 years there, that Fulham got 3 wins against so-called big 6 teams; each by 1 goal margins.... Even then, 2 of those were against Liverpool who were regularly a 6-8th place team back then. The other was against Arse.

You cannot say the same about Bissouma.

You've not seen much of him; clearly

Liverpool? Yes. He's better than Henderson in 2022 for sure. Bissouma/Fabinho/Thiago would be a really decent midfield .. probably a bit defensive but still. Chelsea? I mean I prefer him personally to Jorginho who plays at the base of their midfield so it's a matter of stylistic preference.

HAHAHA.... But all the melts assured us over recent days that Levy was fucking Conte in so-called true Levy fashion and that Conte's balls had shrunk.

You clowns are priceless.

Stick to fear and jealousy; it suits you and the rest of the misery-clan much better.

He was. Ferguson wanted him at United after bossing them weeks/days before joining us.

And you clearly haven’t seen ouch or Bissouma if you rate him that highly. I watched quite a lot of Brighton last season due to the Potter love in. Bissouma is a good tackler and gets himself about the pitch but he’s loose in possession and Wasteful on the ball at times. There’s a reason he hasn’t started for us yet and there’s a reason no other top team we’re in for him.
