I've made my fair share of Winks jokes in the past, but I only wish him the best. I didn't like some of the ways he ran his mouth at times, but I understand that it was from a point of frustration at wanting to be a bigger part of the team.
We've had far worse players than him and far more who held nothing close to the affinity for the club as him. His worst crime was just not being good enough for what the club wants to be. This is the best move for all around and I hope he recovers some of the form that we saw flashes of at times.

A small sample I know but Persic has got 2 assists this season versus Wolves (1-0 win) and Chelsea (2-2 draw), playing about 110 mins (just over one game) and arguably earned us 4 points.
Reguilon got 2 goals and 7 assists in 52 matches so a goal involvement every 5th match.
