I really think Savinho might end up another fucking lemon of a signing. What's the fee rumoured?
Big potential there but he's a long way off being the finished article. And I wouldn't say he's light years ahead of Tel or Odobert.

For context, he's behind Martinelli in the pecking order for the Brazil squad! So if fans think he's the answer and going to be on the same level as Kudus then they are embracing themselves for a big let down.

However, he does have bags of potential and maybe with a run of games he will turn into a top winger. Doku and Semenyo are the 2 best wingers in the league by a distance so can't really fault him for not making it at City.

I would bite both of your arms off for a player like Dembele, I was watching a comp of him last night and I'd forgo a "passer" to have someone like him receiving the ball from Senesie and van Hecke.
Dembele was so press resistant and strong. When he dropped off physically and eventually left we stopped dominating games in anywhere near the same way.what a player.

Don’t think Scott’s on that level in that regard but they can both take the ball in traffic and beat the press. Scott’s got more about him passing wise and more energy. Think he’s potentially going to be great tbh.

Hes def a much bigger risk and more of a long term development project than people realize. His decision-making, end product, and general variety of play all need coaching up.

I think people just see City and assume he’s proper polished but he’s really not, his end product is a serious issue and I’m not entirely convinced he fits in the PL personality or physicality wise either.

What keeps me somewhat optimistic despite the red flags is it’s obvious he has real talent though, beyond what we’ve seen in recent years, that can’t be denied atleast.

This feels like the type of sentiment we see before we every midfield signing and they usually just end up being pace merchants with no composure or end product.

Does not seem like a signing that will push us forward just more of the same and not a great injury record to boot.

Would rather the money be spent elsewhere
What's his injury record? I've not heard that raised as a concern before.

And hopefully we will still be spending more money elsewhere but we'll just have to wait and see.

He's very raw. He's a profile we need because he can beat defenders 1v1 and hold width. But his end product is bang average and needs a lot of work. Right now he's just a better version of Odobert. He's nowhere near Kudus levels if thats what people are expecting
