Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Didn't Vinai or Lange say something like "we know that we have to be very active in the following transfer windows, starting this Summer".

I guess that De Zerbi has stated that we have to shore up the defence, and then move forward through the squad.

I have no doubt that many agents have been in contact with Lange punting their players, but De Zerbi appears to have identified what positions and what players he would like to target.

I would think that he has also prioritized a striker given the fact that we have a pair of injury prone, zero paced, Championship level strikers.
I know what you mean about our strikers, though I think De Zerbi should take a look at Solanke's last season at Bournemouth and see if he can identify how Iraola got him scoring more.

I posted about it the other day #8,700 seems he was pressing further up the pitch.

He ain't a buy. He is fit and would be a "free" transfer. We have a current injury crisis.
10 goals is not terrible.

He's 29, so even without a fee it'll be a big wage deal - last big chance for a massive contract in his career

Then, in a year, when we decide we don't want him - it'll cost us money to get rid because no one will match his wages for a 30 year old bang average player

So yeah, not "a buy" - but can still be costly

I remember an interview with Solanke where he was told to be more selfish, essentially

Was spending too much time running all over trying to support the team

Iraola told him to stay within the width of the goal posts and get service

Of course, within that remit he was still pressing high etc, but in a more constrained way

Ange obviously didn't get the memo on that

Of course.
Some, like me, think he is ready to start for Spurs. Others think, wrongly in my opinion, that he needs another loan.
I'm referring to the few curmudgeonly posters on here who don't even think he's all that and sneer at him.
That's fair but the are always extremes and the curmudgeons are counter balanced by those who seem to think he's the best player in the world, ever.

Personally, I think he's very good with the potential to be incredible but he's still so young and needs to be playing every week, so if he's not going to get that here, he needs a loan.
Similar to Moore really, in that it's all there but it's unrefined and a gamble to rely on them just yet.
Another years worth of experience and I think they'll be more than ready.

People forget Mitoma was not the finished article when arriving at Brighton.

There is a massive ceiling to Savinho that can be harnessed by proper coaching

Yep

Also Savinho is 22.....what were the likes of Semenyo and Mbeumo doing at the same age. Not every player flourishes or hits their peak at a young age, some take longer to find the right club/environment/ coach to get the best out of them

The key here is does DeZerbi want Savinho. If he does then let's see what he can do with the player. The suggested transfer fee of 50-60 mill is outrageous and will put huge pressure on Savinho from day one. That's unfortunate and not the players fault.

Maybe not big big buy but how about pavlidis from benfica got a good record and seems to bail out benfica alot. Scores alot too.

I do like munoz alot and think he will be a better buy then bahoya too im really suprised we are not linked since hes at osasuna

If van heckle is going into the last year of his deal why would we pay 70 million for him.
He’s good but not that good
It can't be that much surely? It's 15 mill less than Kane was sold for with a year on his contract.

All seems very odd. Van Hecke is a good replacement for Romero but for that money you'd just keep Romero for a year and take Van Hecke for free next year. We literally hold all the cards - not to mention Danso and Vuscovic so we could even sell Romero and still wait the year.

Can't quite work out what the play is here?

i reckon we are only getting him because de zerbi wants him and after him saving us i reckon there is leeway for what he wants. I reckon it will 45 with hefty add ons myself or closer to 50

That is a great synopsis.
Totally agree.
