Was always going to be after Pep leaving
As much as Maresca is a Pep student, he is also his own man with strong views

Odobert looked alright, can not say a winger looks very good when he is not producing numbers or contributing to wins.Eye test had Akliouche looking very good when we played them in the CL
Also had Odobert starting to look very good as well just before his injury
Would love Trafford
I think they're assuming he's as good as gone already.
How very dare you speak about STEEEED, like that. Shame on you.He reminds me of a signing we'd make under Jol. Some Malbranque type that'd decent but ultimately a mid table player.
But we talk about not selling to other PL clubs, but there only five other teams in the world outside Saudi (and who knows whether that tap is still on) than can afford 50m plus players on 100k a week plus. It’s just a different world currently and we should be open to selling to anyone but Woolwich.
With our history of injuries he’ll get in by October. So don’t buy van Hecke even tho the manager clearly wants him? Or keep him as fifth choice behind VH, VDV, Senesi and Danso? He might get ten mins before Xmas
Kovacic for 1 year rolling contract & Marmoush as Center forward to play alongside Solanke would be my picks from that side.
Marmoush 15 goal contribution in 1800 minutes for City is quite good given he was rarely played.
Kovacic if he is injury free, even at 32 would be a great addition to CM for a year contract.
At 27, he hasnt done much at the top level. If he were 23 , I get it. Not worth the risk for the money it will take to get him
Id love to be proven wrong but I think he's a distinctly average player who just had 1 good season
Terrible buy, will regress to the mean
Well... yea, Wilson is not super exiting.
But as a 2nd winger signing. Being homegrown. And coming on free transfer.
We could do a lot worse.
Main issue is his injury situation - he will now finish 5th season for Fulham and with that time he has played 6564 minutes of EPL football - 1 312 minutes per season. That equals to 14,6 full games.
Though when he has played, he has always produced massively.
In EPL for Fulham 22 goals and 21 assists... that is goal contribution for every 153 minutes on the field. That is actually exceptional.
Pretty sure that it is better than anyone in current Spurs team (playing in EPL for Spurs) bar Richie (124) and Madders (134) - but please correct me if I am wrong.
Not saying at all that this would be a priority - far from it actually. But if we can get first pick winger and Wilson would be ok to join as free agent for salary up to 100 th per week, it could be quite useful.
A bit deer?

Not if Kudus is fit. He's good enough to start but we do need another right sided player that's not Harry Wilson.
