I said something yesterday about a lack of a DOF and now I'm beginning to become quite alarmed with some of the links.
It's seems 90% of the supposed targets main defensive flaw is lapses of concentration. Wtf kind of scouting is being done?
Do these absolute weapons not fucking know how fundamentally important it is to target defenders who don't have that as their biggest weakness. We need the complete opposite.....hell we can even sacrifice other attributes if it means the defender isn't weak in the key area.

Scott Wilson isn't one of those guys you'd hang your hat on. Really not great if Kilman is an option, especially for what he'd cost. Mid-table player. Torn on Barnes, the player of two years ago is a lot more dynamic than the player of this past year, if he can't beat a man anymore we shouldn't be after him. Good goalscorer though

Most of the links at the moment are homegrown players with PL experience.
Either.......we're finally looking to fix our HG issues instead of relying on turnips like Tanganga, or 1 or 2 links are genuine, the rest of them are the media putting 1 and 2 together.
One thing we need to avoid IMO, is signing too many players from clubs that struggled. I can see the value in Madison and Barnes, they were good in a bad Leicester team and good in a good Leicester team.

It’s not that poor. Statistically speaking we are producing less right now but Conte was a short term appointment not interested in playing youth as has been pointed out by academy player parents. So that could change this season if maybe Scarlett or Parrott were to be given an opportunity.
But I guess it also depends on what your expectations are?
For every 1000 academy players approx 30 will play premier league football.
And as youngsters are still developing and their progression is not linear the best 18 year olds are not always the best 21 or 25 year olds.
Typical example someone like Declan Rice. Not picked for younger England squads like say Onomah was when young. But we now know who became the better player.
