I like the idea of Gift and Destiny adding pace and hunger to our team.

Gift.... Destiny... As profound as these lads sound I always fancied a crack at this guy:

Though this lad never came through for us:

My favorite of these played basketball at St. Johns some years ago

3rd oldest in the prem. Before next season starts we'd have Lloris 36, Perisic 34, Forster 35, Son 31, Davies 30, Kane 30, Dier 29, Hojbjerg 28, Lenglet 28. Most of our bloody first team. That has to be the slowest team ever assesmbled.

Quite the squad we have huh....

Really hope whoever we bring in gives younger players a real chance to play. Not expecting to really compete for anything next season, so let's see what we got.

With the right manager, a lot of our issues could be potentially solved with players already on the payroll.

A playing style that emphasizes pace and energy is naturally going to benefit our younger players.

There's a LOT of work to do, but our squad isn't as bleak as our current predicament suggests.

It’s similar to insider trading. You are potentially able to influence the things you are betting on.

Gambling is also addictive so even if we’re happy with betting on some games, there needs to be a clear line set on acceptability. The only real way to do that is - you want to be a pro footballer… then you can’t bet on games. Wait until you retire.
I get that point and where Toney has came from in his career in terms of level he’s played at he would’ve been in the category of not being a big earner and betting is a way to make more even though you’re never going to win. There’s definitely still a massive gambling culture in the game because these guys are just normal guys who like to do normal things.

It’s different if they have inside info because they are in a privileged position to use that to there advantage then that’s different but putting a treble on Stenhousemuir,Crewe and Sporting Gijon and getting in bother is bonkers

8 months is a disgrace. Having a bet is a fun thing to do as long as you don’t let it get out of hand. Totally different if he’s betting on Brentford to lose or not win but 99% of players will have a bet on a Saturday or any other day for that matter. The further down the levels it’s even more rife. Stupid fucking rule.
These players make millions. It’s not a hard rule to follow. Every sports league in the world will come down hard if it’s own players are gambling on it.

A lot has to go right for a club that a lot hasn't gone right for.

Can Gil & Sarr make an impact? Will Skipp take a step forward? A healthy Bissouma and Bentancur makes an area of weakness suddenly average to above average.

Huge questions about how Udogie, Porror and Spence will contribute.

Richarlison??

Could be some nice pieces, but how a manager puts it together is going to be interesting.

So many questions and i didn't even dive into defense
