His ability to just play football would be a welcome addition to our present defence...letting Foyth go was probably a mistake.
He'd be super useful now with his ability to play RCB or RB.
If we’d signed him from the Norwegian 2nd div that would have been some serious scouting.
I like the idea of Gift and Destiny adding pace and hunger to our team.
Maybe he’s a bit of an Orban myth at this point. Won’t know until we sign him

If he can then he would be the perfect “bridge” from Kane to Scarlett. Toney, Son and Richarlison is a very decent trio.can Toney be signed by a club during his ban, i imagine now's the time brentford would sell
For that pun, you deserve a sin bin orban
My favorite of these played basketball at St. Johns some years agoGift.... Destiny... As profound as these lads sound I always fancied a crack at this guy:

You bet.
You bet.
Another great one (to tie in making fun of the Dutch language in the other thread) was that Eljero Elia (remember when Spurs were linked with him?) was named after American R&B singer Al Jarreau.
3rd oldest in the prem. Before next season starts we'd have Lloris 36, Perisic 34, Forster 35, Son 31, Davies 30, Kane 30, Dier 29, Hojbjerg 28, Lenglet 28. Most of our bloody first team. That has to be the slowest team ever assesmbled.
A playing style that emphasizes pace and energy is naturally going to benefit our younger players.Quite the squad we have huh....
Really hope whoever we bring in gives younger players a real chance to play. Not expecting to really compete for anything next season, so let's see what we got.
With the right manager, a lot of our issues could be potentially solved with players already on the payroll.

I get that point and where Toney has came from in his career in terms of level he’s played at he would’ve been in the category of not being a big earner and betting is a way to make more even though you’re never going to win. There’s definitely still a massive gambling culture in the game because these guys are just normal guys who like to do normal things. It’s similar to insider trading. You are potentially able to influence the things you are betting on.
Gambling is also addictive so even if we’re happy with betting on some games, there needs to be a clear line set on acceptability. The only real way to do that is - you want to be a pro footballer… then you can’t bet on games. Wait until you retire.
These players make millions. It’s not a hard rule to follow. Every sports league in the world will come down hard if it’s own players are gambling on it.8 months is a disgrace. Having a bet is a fun thing to do as long as you don’t let it get out of hand. Totally different if he’s betting on Brentford to lose or not win but 99% of players will have a bet on a Saturday or any other day for that matter. The further down the levels it’s even more rife. Stupid fucking rule.
There's a LOT of work to do, but our squad isn't as bleak as our current predicament suggests.
