Zero chance Laporte is coming to us. Zero.

Why would he after being at City. And when he'll have the likes of PSG, Barca, Napoli & co after him should he decide to leave.

If he was keen to remain in the PL, he'd still pick Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle...even Woolwich...over us.

Just forget about him, move on.

Not really how it works though is it?

How many of those teams are looking at CB's for example?

Not saying we will sign him but if there isnt a market for him then we have as much chance as anyone.

Whether we get a new manager in who decides to play 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 or 3-4-2-1...or change our current system to go with 4 at the back (4-4-2 / 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1)...in my mind it's clear we need:

- GK x 1: Frase ain't a No 1...please no 🦖 🙏

- RCB x 1: sorry to break your hearts, Romero fanboys...but he ain't reliable. He's a reckless shithead who misreads plays & mistimes tackles, and a liability in the air. I hope he goes and I'd play Emerson there if can't get anybody better

- CCB x 1: fuck your 3yr extension, Dier

- LCB x 1: Ben Davies a solid backup but we need a starter (not named Lenglet 🙏)
- LB/LWB x 1: time to go, Sess. And the Perisic experiment will end too. So untested Udogie will need cover

- CM x 1 or 2: in my dreams we get rid of Hojbjerg, Dombs, GLC & Winksy. In Biss & Roddy we have two starting 11-worthy pieces, need another. Skippy is a backup. Give young Alfie & Sarr a proper chance...if not, loan them out and get another body in

- CAM x 1: seen as we got one of the best in the biz already, maybe we should play him there more often. He could mentor a youngun like Alex Scott...just a thought...

- RW x 1 or 2: not against keeping Kulu, but not at that price point, no way. Been gash for a year and may never reach last season's heights again, that ain't worth 30 mil. Regardless, we need someone else in...I doubt Danjuma will be the one

- LW x 1: I want Gil to be given a real shot, kid's defo got talent. It'll do Sonny some good to rest more often. But if it aint Bryan (or Danjuma), go shopping as won't be Troy

- ST x 1: how do you say See Ya in Portuguese? 60mil for Richy makes me sick. Ship him out and get a proper understudy to Kane in. It won't be Kolo Muani, wake up. If they sign Toney, I'm leaving

Before you bash me, yes I do fully realise that there's no way we'll sign 10-12 new players...or that if we somehow did, they'd all be better than the shitty deadwood or overrated wank we got now. And that's 10 or 12 if we keep Dier, Spence, Skippy and co to play backup.

But if we really wanna get back on top, that's just what needs to happen.

I 100% appreciate the rules but they are utter shit. Fuck me if Toney wants to bet on Sampdoria v Sassoulo on a Sunday night for a bit of interest then who gives a fuck.

So you don’t think that 99% of footballers especially at lower levels don’t have a bet?
Every footballer I know bets on games every week of their lives. Might not be the same with players who earn millions but the ones at lower levels bet for fun,to try win to pay bills, or for nights out or holidays or anything that they need extra cash for.
To ban a player for 8 months is a disgrace

Could you, just once, make a post that isn't complete shit.

He knew the rules. He deserves the ban. No, it is not a disgrace.

What I disagree with is football clubs being allowed to use gambling organisations as sponsors for so long. That should've been stopped ages ago.

- RCB x 1: sorry to break your hearts, Romero fanboys...but he ain't reliable. He's a reckless shithead who misreads plays & mistimes tackles, and a liability in the air. I hope he goes and I'd play Emerson there if can't get anybody better

You've broken nobody's hearts because your opinion isn't relevant. We need to upgrade our defence, absolutely. But Romero won't be one of those that goes.

Imagine thinking it's ok to call him a shithead. Here's an idea - you're a gooner fanboy who has a poster of Sol Campbell on your bedroom wall.
