Apologies don't normally use this thread as much as I should.
I will report back with my findings though.
The Fighting Cock is a forum for fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Here you can discuss Spurs latest matches, our squad, tactics and any transfer news surrounding the club. Registration gives you access to all our forums (including 'Off Topic' discussion) and removes most of the adverts (you can remove them all via an account upgrade). You're here now, you might as well...

Mazza
he "spouted off to the media" about not playing in the position he wants when he was in bad form then "spouted off to the media" again about how he's changed his mind and sees himself as a CB. He also "spouted off to the media" about how a lot of our players have been in bad form and how it was a unfair he was being singled out for his bad form.Perisic is on nearly £100k a week more than Dier, Romero double. We paid £5m for him. Over his career he looks to have been a good egg and a model professional, trains hard, isn't a party boy and doesn't spout off on social media.
There's no denying he was utter shite last season, and has been regressing but that's true of many players except perhaps Kane. It's fair to assume the last three managers have totally screwed many players up and they need a reset.
Should he be moved on? Perhaps, could we do better? For sure, but... if he can find his form, and he has had seasons where he's been pretty decent which got him an England call-up then he might be handy to have around.
He's certainly moved down the pecking order but I don't understand the vitriol towards him. He's not refused to train, put country games before us, walked around the pitch not putting a shift in. He's just been a bit shit.
I would rather move on players like Sess, just pointless them being around, he is young enough to go out and find his level. He isn't confident enough to play a bit part – unless Ange can change his mentality, he just seems very timid and fragile, super scared to do anything wrong
Hmm...Now that Vardy is no longer in the EPL... Maddisson has the most punchable face in the league.
Nice bloke though, even if he is Woolwich. Big into Animal rights.
yea lets all just be supportive of players no matter what hey. like a good bunch of gimps saturated in estrogen...
its so called fans like you that deserve no league title for 60+ years. just cheer them on because they are spurs players. good boy
What about overrating Kane in Anges fast paced game, he’s no speed merchant.

Only times a player deserves abuse is if they disrespect the club or they're an actual piece of shit like Partey.yea lets all just be supportive of players no matter what hey. like a good bunch of gimps saturated in estrogen...

No. But if Chiesa is somehow available and we can move son/richarlison to the 9, then that’s something To think about.Sell Kane to Bayern for say £85 million and buy Vlahovic from Juve for say £70 million. Yes or No ?
Yes for me.
Looking at these two pics, there is a big difference, and it depends what we mean exactly - is it meant to be a face you'd like to punch, or a face that looks like it has already been punched many times? :/
I'm not sure Sanchez has ever been interviewed post game, maybe that's because he doesn't play much?he "spouted off to the media" about not playing in the position he wants when he was in bad form then "spouted off to the media" again about how he's changed his mind and sees himself as a CB. He also "spouted off to the media" about how a lot of our players have been in bad form and how it was a unfair he was being singled out for his bad form.
He has "spouted off to the media" on many occasions. If you want a player that hasn't actually done that and still gets stick it's Sanchez.
This is a strange take. We’re a football club not a charity. We all want what’s best for the club. Players like Dier have been underperforming for years and constantly making errors that lead to goals. It’s not personal, he’s well paid he needs to move on. I don’t wish him any personal ill will or harm but I equally don’t want to see him line out for my football club. The way some of you lot talk about our players you want gone or don't like, honestly you are the pits and deserve nothing!
Makes me want to pull for those same players and turn their form around.
Well said sirHow wonderfully ironic...
This is a Spurs forum btw - for Spurs fans - you know, being supportive of our players etc. I hope and expect that I speak for 95% of 'the room' on here when I say by all means let's discuss trying to replace players who aren't good enough, let's be disappointed and criticise them when they make mistakes if we wish, but anyone who calls not quite good enough players who are struggling 'cunts' who 'have no pride', and should 'fuck off' should, well, fuck off themselves as far as most on here are concerned.
