Surely there's no way we can't gazump them if we choose to match the price?
(If true, obvz, which Football Insider usually isn't)

Right. We'd have needed a clear run at Doku. If he is Man City bound then the sooner it gets done the better - and then we don't have to worry about them as competition for the winger targets still out there.
Was it? But are you not policing it by saying it was?
Neither do you.
No idea.
A very bold statement coming from the biggest flip flopping prick on the forum!OR perhaps we can enjoy the here and now.
If we were waiting for us to win something we’d never banter anyone.
You know…the more you post the bigger prick I think you are. Just being honest.

You are one of the few posters I genuinely think are oppo troll fans.
In La Liga since 08/09Only really Messi,Ronaldo and Benzema scored ridiculous amounts but they are superstars.
I think in the prem Kane scored 30+ in 2017/2018 and last season. Haaland last season,Suarez would have scored 30 + and definitely Salah. They are probably the latest ones but shearer,Cole,Philips and Ronaldo definitely did and maybe someone from Woolwich from a while back.
Even in Germany they don’t have someone scoring crazy amounts apart from Bayern and maybe Dortmund.
The apologists will be out in force trying to swing the argument towards it being the coaches fault. If there is to be a fall out between him and Levy at some point, it is 100% obvious what it will be over.
Messi and Ronaldo are freaks of nature and shouldn’t countIn La Liga since 08/09
Forlan 32 (failed in England)
Messi 34

The record number of goals in the PL is 36. Last season. Scored by goal machine Haaland.
Matched or beaten 7 times in Spain in 15 years.
The next beat PL return, iirc, is 33?
Also beaten twice.
Spain is a goalscorers paradise. It's harder to score in other leagues. And my partial theory on that is they go head to head before GD. Teams in the bottom half don't care if they get beat 1-0 or 5-0 vs the top 4 teams as it simply doesn't matter.
Ronaldo and Messi in Italy and France dropped off from their mental scoring feats.
You have older players like Benzema and Lewendowki scoring fairly easily.
Players like Forlan fail in England and run riot in Spain.
And all this is just looking at the single top scorer in the seasons. I bet there's quite a few not far behind them each season.
its said that thats the football culture in spain. the teams want to play football, alteltico madrid were the only team to try get compact and counter....and it worked for a couple years to be fair. the rest want to play the beautiful game and fight fire with fire. And my partial theory on that is they go head to head before GD. Jesus Christ. I didn’t say that the last 15 years have been miserable for every second of being a Spurs fan.Maybe being a spurs fan has not been for you. Most spurs fans have been really excited. I remember the buzz when we first started playing champions league football and the taxi for Maicon evening… people were pinching themselves that we were having these great European nights and playing good football under Harry.
There have been ups and downs since then but the Poch days have been the best in 40 years.
Whilst everyone deplores domestic abuse, it's a legal matter, not a football matter. The league shouldn't ban a player. A club could and perhaps should sack them, but then they may lose a valuable asset to a rival for nothing.Quite frankly I find it disgusting that his punishment is more severe than that of the domestic abusers.
He suffered from a gambling addiction and placed a few punts on some games he didn’t take part it. The whole league and sports at large is rife with sports pushing punting on people.
Combine those two things and I can’t really blame the guy for feeling like someone was out to get him.
Paqueta on the other hand should be made example of.
Real Madrid and Barcelona in those days were also monstrous teams, better than City today.
And I think they can do that because of the H2H rule. You can't imagine teams of the PL era trying to go toe to toe with the likes of Moyes, Allardyce, Hodgson, Dyche etc at the helm. They'll all hold hands around the 6 yard box desperately hoping for a clean sheet.its said that thats the football culture in spain. the teams want to play football, alteltico madrid were the only team to try get compact and counter....and it worked for a couple years to be fair. the rest want to play the beautiful game and fight fire with fire.
But we've seen they score less elsewhere.
