Really not sold on Jonathan David….

Orban is the guy.

Also we still need a CB! There was a few rumours Liverpool were looking at Schuurs…

Jesus Christ. I didn’t say that the last 15 years have been miserable for every second of being a Spurs fan.

OF COURSE there have been high points. Some of the campaigns under Redknapp and Pochettino have brought about some of my finest memories as a Spurs fan. But there’s always going to be a sense of what if about those last 15 years, and in general the bad days have overshadowed the good. Just my honest opinion. I’m not trolling or trying to be controversial.

My initial point is that we should refrain from ripping the piss out of Chelsea until a bit later into the season than 2 games with nothing to back it up.
It just makes us look a bit tin pot. Concentrate on ourselves for now, not the Chavs.

Nah boring, gotta take the highs when you can, the lows are always peaking around the corner.

And I think they can do that because of the H2H rule. You can't imagine teams of the PL era trying to go toe to toe with the likes of Moyes, Allardyce, Hodgson, Dyche etc at the helm. They'll all hold hands around the 6 yard box desperately hoping for a clean sheet.
to be honest i like that the two cultures are different, would be boring if everyone was the same. it adds a different element to it in the premier league. spain is literally about having the most gifted football purists in the team a lot of the time. england is like a mix of spain and italy.

As long as people can see they're clearly different. To such an extent its hard to compare them.

We have? (It would be better if you stuck to speaking for yourself and let others do the same)

I'd say - £100m in the pocket or not - finishing 8th and not having a recent trophy haul to lean on means that "top"(*) attacking player won't find the prospect of joining us this summer particularly alluring.

(*Again, I find myself curious as to what "top" specifically means in such comments.)

.......FWIW; I don't recall Levy saying a damn thing.

...........Personally, I 'm suprised Maddison (a top, EPL-proven attacking MF btw!), chose us over Newcastle, but I'm extremely thankful that he did.
Ah the old we finished in position x therefore player y won't be interested in joining us excuse

Tedious

Chelsea didn't seem to have that issue with Caicedo yet they finished below us. The mind boggles

Do you mean Son and Richarlison? None of them are specialist strikers. I would go with Son as CF out of those two. Or do you mean Scarlett and Veliz? I'm not counting them as senior strikers.

Rich has played more games at CF in his career (115) that in any other position.

It's not Son's primary position; but regardless he's proved himself VERY capable of playing CF.... 108 games in his career including some big game and performances for us. Ange himself has already said he's a perfectly plausible option at CF.
