Speaking of Everton, I actually think Dier and Dyche might be a good pairing...
It's his best bet, but I don't think he'll succeed there. Even in a low block you have to be quite proactive in defending so that the opposition don't get a chance to get the cross or shot off from range.

Spammers yesterday was a good example of that.
 
To risk undoing a good (better than expected) starr with reluctance to augment our front line, would be akin to eating a 10-day standing Doner kebab, anf to then moan of having a dodgy belly.

Not saying Phillips can’t help us but we have a really solid midfield already and he’s probably looking for opportunities to start.

Only way he starts for us is due to injuries or AFCON.
