We're trying to move 3 CBs, there's plenty of reasons to get both, one for LCB backup one for RCB backup. I doubt we will though.
If Dier, Tanganga and Sanchez are gone then yes we need both or play with fire and end up with left back Davies playing in a high line at CB if we get an injury or two.
Ndombelly is a lazy cunt, he doesn't even wanna have to go through the motions. There's no reason to turn down a loan move if he's actually ambitious about getting his career back on track, even taking a step down to a club like Genoa, if your alternative is sitting on your arse for 12 months how's that help you find a new team when your current contract expires? If we wanted to shift him permanently it's eminently clear we'd have to subsidise his last 1-2 years, and even more obvious that he won't get anything remotely near £200k/week when he does finally fuck off permanently.

Gallagher will be at the expense of Skipp and Hojberg, Sarr can play the 6 role which Gallagher can’t as 6 in Ange’s team needs elite ball control.
Only Bissouma, Sarr and possibly Bentancur have the skillset for a deep lying midfielder who can progress the ball and is press resistant. I don’t see Gallagher being suited for that.
