Yeah I guess but I usually think of transfers in terms of quality anyway, not just how much is being spent. Yoro's really the only one that I see as a quality signing.

Yoro is one I really worry about. He looks to me like a really talented, lanky kid who's body is 2 years away from being Premier League ready but now has all the pressure in the world to deliver world-class performances straight off the bat.

We all know we will be tuning in the first time he plays Chris Wood ...

Probably but I see that as they are working as a team, if he has skills in negotiating and brokering deals then it's a good thing he steps in, did the same with the Dragusin transfer as well.

Exactly, if Levy is coming in as chairman to help get deals over the line, that's fine. He's good at that.

Just keep him away from the sporting part of the transfer process. He knows nothing about football and should have minimal involvement in who we buy or sell. Just help get the deals done.

Possibly, he was part of a group with Edwards that along with Chelsea (who/were always strong) really owned a season and where miles above most youth players in the country. At least would have expected him to be a mid table prem player or get to where Edwards or Walker-Peters got but he just fell off a cliff.
I'm not saying fans should just write off academy players as viable first teamers.
But they really, really need to learn that staring for a kids team means absolutely nothing.
They'll do that go into training with the men's teams and probably get kicked all over the pitch. Most coaches would pack them back off to Uxx teams in days and it's why we rarely see them play more than a few minutes. Coaches just don't trust them at the men's level.

If we had Villas window. People would be complaining.

Just qualified for the CL and they've:

- Sold their best midfielder and replaced him with someone inferior

-Signed Ross Barkley on a free.

- Signed what would have been the equivalent to us re-signing Jack Clarke.

I do think Maatsen is a good signing, but he looked so physically below par when he played for Chelsea last season.
They’ve also sold their marquee signing from last summer, albeit for good money, to Saudi.

Im sure plenty is going on. We’ve just changed from getting rumours from Harry as he passes a journo in his car, or some bloke from COYS that apparently lived up a tree.

People take the piss with the idea that buying a player isn’t like going to the shops for a pint of milk, but it is a very complex thing to complete. Piss easy on FM but not in reality.

So many factors to be taken care of before a signing can be made and before anyone points out that other teams have made a few deals, some are easier than others.

We’ll see where we are when the window closes as always. And won’t even know if the window was successful for a couple of seasons at least.
So the latest are that a bloke living in a tree is the new ITK master???

This calmness MUST come with age... Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman , Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor back me up here...

but I'm seriously not worried....

In my wildest dreams, of COURSE WE SIGN everyone we want....

In the REAL WORLD, we get one or two...
And in SOME people's world, this is as good as it's gonna get!

Good luck with that negative notion.....

We've GOT AT LEAST an Eze or a Toney in us!

Well I only became 'calm' in my late 50s. But that's relative.

I don't really take any notice of transfers anymore. Que Sera Sera.
