I don't know if you have some crystal ball or have some exclusive insight into football trading but this is genrally how trading markets work, it's actually pretty simple...if there's less money going around in the market then the value of assets drop considerably.

Nope, it isn't.

Premium assets still have a very limited supply and still come at a premium, even if demand for less premium assets is reduced.

Agree with you here.... There may be a ripple through much of the market, but when considering the very top players the 100-150m market isn't going anywhere.

(I know the record fee is higher for Mbappe & Neymar > PSG; but that's just wankery.)

I meant we haven’t improved since the January signings

Because we did the vast majority of our signings to improve the team in the Summer, what we bought in Jan is cover.

Not every Jan window you're gonna get a Bantancur and Kulusevski and even then when they were brought in was because the squad was in poor shape in the first place so they came as starters.

Keep telling everyone that Jan is such a poor window to look for improvements and smart investments, big moves rarely happen in that window for a reason.

Piatek did nothing like what Zirkzee can do in the build up.

I do agree Zirkzee is a way off Kane's level for now, especially as a finisher but just making the point he has that type of ceiling.

I have like De Ketelaere playing CF when i've seen it. Used to play 10 so has the ability to be that type fo CF that can dictate games in the buildup as well.
I do like the kid, he's got such good feet for a big man. Gets involved in the build-up, great eye for a pass, knows which runs to make. Does feel like a Spurs player too. But he wouldn't get as much time in the PL, and his lack of pace worries me a tad. But still young & with the right guidance...no doubt he has plenty upside.

Friends of mine who are PSG fans (pre-Qatar ownership) firmly believe Thiago Motta will be their HC next season and that he'll bring Zirkzee along with him. Talking about a deal where Bayern get Kolo Muani or Ramos to work around that 40% resale clause in the boy's contract.

Whatever happens, I don't see him at Bologna next season, even if they get CL footy.

Neither Motta or Zirkzee will be at Bologna next season.

The PSG thing is interesting but their owners will decide what happens there and they need to stroke their ego after losing Mbappe. Osimhen will end up at PSG for sure imo.

They've given up on Luis Enrique already?

Motta definitely due a step up though. Knew be was destined for great things when I saw him rock a 272 formation years back.

Yeah true. If Motta doesn't go PSG, he'll go to Inter, Juve...maybe even Barca.

I don't think Osimhen ends up in Paris, even if they somehow manage to get rid of Kolo Muani and/or Ramos...combined cost of 170mil btw, so good luck with that. Think he'll go to Chelsea personally...or Bayern if Harry decides to move on.

Enrique was always the wrong choice for PSG, but they're such a weird friggin club, so poorly run by Qatar. I mean, they've had Carlo, Tuchel, Emery...proven managers who've won big trophies...failed there despite having all the money in the world.

But Enrique's a dinosaur and to be honest, a major egotistical prick. They got him in cause they couldn't attract anybody better at that time. I hate watching his teams and I hate his pressers.

They'll defo have a convo with Klopp, but if he's got any sense, he'll tell them to jog on.

Motta would be unbelievably popular with the fans, who remember him from his time there as a player. That midfield trio with Matuidi and Verratti was a beautiful thing to watch.

Chavski don't have FFP room for a transfer that big unless they sell Gallagher or Colwill.
