The appeal for Kelly is that he can cover LB too but could he really do what the FBs are expected to do in this system? A 6ft 2 CB receiving between the lines like an auxiliary #10? not sure about that.
Let's get Tosin as a very solid CB option and solve the depth at FB in another way.
Still think Iling Jr is someone we'll probably pursue. It's gone a bit quiet but one year left in his contract, HG and a BASE client.
Kelly for me isn't all that, is pretty slow and isn't that strong for a centreback, might aswell keep Ben Davies

losing romero takes us 2 steps backwards. weve struck gold with him. you cant sell your best players if you wanna climb. weve got plenty of other players that can free up good cash who arent good enough.
Plays WB pretty often for Juve as well. Would be HG too and possibly an even more attacking option at FB than Udogie or Porro.

If you called Palmer to have a season like this after a handful of games for City, you need hiring by the club mate.
This is a breakthrough season unlike any since maybe Dele.
All these hindsight merchants are funny, the guy hadn't even scored a goal in the Premier League before this season, been such a freak season, no-one ever envisaged something like this.
