Feel the same.

maybe I'm missing something, though?

Apparently another elite pressing player.

Think both will be less than that tbh but essentially Alvarez is twice the price of either.

I've been impressed every time I've seen him, as you mentioned an elite presser and according to who scored has played in every attacking position this season with 11 goals and 9 assists this season

He's the first striker we've been linked too which fits what we want to do and I actually believe is very good (not that my opinions matter)

Everyone else is meh

Little overhyped for me.

20 goals in 66 appearances nothing to write home about. Of course a lot are likely off the bench, and a little out of position, but then they also have Silva / KDB feeding you.

This is also the thing. Haaland is an absolute specimen but he gets it put on a plate for him so much of the time. I would never have willed Kane to have moved to City but I am curious to know just how many goals he'd have been able to score in that system.

I’m sure their fans are screaming on their board “just pay the dam fee!!”

If he is on loan, he is registered to the club that is loaning him, not us. It's the same reason Sarr isn't club trained.
That's not why Sarr isn't club-trained, we signed Sarr after the start of his first season so he could only get 2 and a half of the 3 years he needed to be club-trained, regardless of whether he was loaned. Phillips is still registered for Spurs while he's loaned out and we signed him before the start of the season so he can still get 3 years.

In UEFA rules, you can only be registered to 1 club at a time. Therefore, if you are out on loan, you are not registered to the parent club for that period.

Strange list considering alot of them aren't particularly similar profiles.

Marmoush for example, the most underrated on that list can play both out wide and through the middle but he's completely different to Ivan Toney for example.

Gyokeres and Gimenez are closest in terms of data. I can understand the links. Gimenez is basically the cheaper and younger option of the two.

El Nesyri isn't even worth talking about. He's the worst on that list overall.

I imagine depending on whether there's true interest in Richarlison will depend on who we go for. If he stays, I can see Marmoush being someone we may push for as he can play in three positions.

You can't play but you're still registered with the parent club whilst loaned out. That's been confirmed too by Ali Gold and Woolwich have Saliba registered as club-trained even though they signed him at 18 and loaned him out to France twice.
