He’s still a very useful player. Haven’t a clue why no one is interested. My guess is he wants to start somewhere and/or people are leery of his contract situation. Probably not coming to us as a result, likely an Italian side with a gentleman’s agreement to extend him on big wages. Long story short this is the sort of deal that we almost never get involved in - the only hope would be Fabio pulling the strings last minute but I highly doubt he is coming here.

But John, they're spending 50 million cos we've just give them 65 million for Solanke fella!.......🤷‍♂️
Yeah, of course. Like we spent 60 million cos Bayern gave us 100 million for Kane.
Like I said, the fact we spent 60 million or 65 million doesn't make him a marquee signing and is no justification for lavishing praise upon the Chairman for fuck sake.
It's the absolute bare minimum we should be expecting.

He’d be much better going off in loan somewhere, even abroad (football and character development) and playing more football in real games. If we are keeping Richarlison, there’s no point in Lankshear staying around.
That all depends on how he impresses in training, and whether he takes the opportunities presented to him.

None of us know what is best for him, and I'll bet he'd prefer to take the opportunity at Spurs than go out on loan.

You might not see the point, the club and player obviously do.

It’s amazing we’ve got this brand new scouting network and all they can come up with is PL players. Lange is starting to feel like Hitchen mark two.
We’ve got a helluva young squad and some talented academy players coming through. I think Ange wanted two players coming in who wouldn’t need to adapt and had a good amount of PL experience alongside the young signings. Makes perfect sense to me.

We’re probably now thinking whether to go for a prospect in Europe and whether they could make an immediate impact.
