I think Chelsea are far beyond buying players just to stop strengthening rivals at this point, they seem to be playing their own accumulation game.

Give it another week and their collection of players will be larger than a Panini album.

Reminds me of the Abramovich era when they used to sign excess players just so their rivals couldn’t be strengthened
Chelsea’s business model is based on Supermarket Sweep.

In fact here is some undercover footage

Does the money we got from Kane go into a special jar reserved only for centreforwards?

Last summer the money we received from Kane was immediately spent AND THEN SOME on other players. That money didn’t exist this summer.

But I will admit it’s a less clear cut lie than the 5 or 6 other times he’s repeated the lie and I was quick to get at him.
Pretty sure that £60mil of the Kane money was spent in advance on Richy.

I can't work out if him and Mount are just shit or if United ruined them.
Bit of Column A, bit of Column B.

Sancho thrived at Dortmund, Mount was a rising star at Derby and initially in that transfer-ban season under Lampard at Chelsea. Gary also loved Mount for England.

Sancho clearly has ego issues, and I suspect going to United leads young players to think they've made it. Mount has suffered horrendous injury issues in his maiden United season.

Yaser Asprilla is fucking incredible and imo we have to make an offer for him sooner rather than later. Our former chief scout brought him to Watford so we have to be aware of him. Michael Olise 2.0. Better than Bakayoko. Better than Kulusevski very shortly. Mohamed Ali-Cho is also better than Bakayoko.

As for a winger I’m increasingly convinced that we should raid the former City boys playing abroad… Bynoe Gittens or Mebude, Vuskovic’s teammate at Westerlo. Just watched some of his tape. One of those two is our long term Son replacement, capable of playing in a high possession EDS City side, but also 1v1 dribbly specialists. Anyways, there’s value here just a matter of if we’re willing to take the risk now that Neto/Eze are off the table.
Dortmund will want a fortune for Byone-Gittens, and after a really good 1st season he did not follow up on that last season (as is common for young players) - but he's still young.
So the question is: should Spurs strike now while he's still "affordable" or wait and see but then risk that he'll be too expensive for Spurs?
Besides, Moore is playing more or less in the same position and may turn into a better player

Mebude was on loan at Bristol City second half of last season. Barely played and when he did he looked completely lost and miles off it. Just because they are decent in youth football doesn’t mean they can transfer it to the men’s game which is completely different.
