Chiesa is a much, much better footballer than Brennan Johnson.

Now, his injuries or period of adaptation might get in the way, rather like Neto, but he is flat out better.

And there isn’t a football fan of any other team that would choose Johnson over Chiesa.
Correct. But that still doesn't mean he will outproduce Brennan, precisely because of availability and adaptation. As I've gotten older, I've respected availability more and more as an attribute. It's the same reason why Ange has lost patience with Richarlison, even though he produced when he played.

P.S. Brennan could and should be playing much, much better. Goes without saying.
Yeah, buzzing for him.

Worked hard and got his move. I hope he does great at Ipswich
Agreed. nice likkle £5mil sell-on our way as well, basically means the Clake sell-on clause has covered the Yang transfer

These pathetic meltdowns really annoy me, the worst examples I’ve seen are Fullkrug from Dortmund to West Ham, Illing Junior & Barrenechea from Juve to Villa (they’ve loaned out both since!), and the one that pissed me off the most was that idiot on Twitter saying That Rutter to Brighton was them showing ambition, but Odobert was bad, it’s just a circle jerk of negativity over EVERYTHING.
It annoys me as its people who want to sign everyone we are linked with, who want every sweet in the shop and throw a tantrum if another kid gets there first.
We have our purchases, other teams have theirs. I seems fairly apparent to me that there is a far more coordinated plan with who we are bringing in and if we haven't gone for another player that's for a reason.
