Will just loan him out again. He took a bit of a pay cut to go to Lyon but he doesn’t look particularly interested when playing for Lyon vs West Ham.
Got a 2/10 from L’Equipe for that performance.
Will have 2 yrs left with one year option on his contract. Is there anyone out there daft enough to give us 20m for him.
Not if we rule ourselves out as he is already ours , mind you Levy might think it’s a bargain, he was worth 55 million a couple of years ago .

Gold:

Ndombele was back among the substitutes having missed three Ligue 1 matches in a row due to injury, and he got 21 minutes from the bench as Lyon won 3-0 at second-placed Marseille on Sunday. The 25-year-old Frenchman did his bit from the bench, making two clearances and blocking one Marseille shot and Lyon's second and third goals did come after his arrival.

Ndombele has played 12 times for Lyon since joining on loan on January transfer deadline day with one goal and two assists to his name and he will now hope to help the club secure a European spot for next season in their final three matches.

It's absolutely amazing how different a football match is when you're there.
NO commentary bending the truth of what's happening
NO replays
NO stats to try to warp what's happening
NO limits on who you can watch at any time (especially in my lofy seat)

It used to boil my fucking piss watching Eriksen in his last year, casually jog around the middle of the park going nowhere near the ball. I'd then get home and see some prick praising him for running 10k. That's EASY.
Then there is the pass completion stats - fuck off. Watching a player from the stands dither on the ball then knock it back to a team mate is not successful. It's hindrance.

Highlights, stats, metrics, they can all show what someone wants you to see specifically. They don't allow you to form your own opinion.
And even full live TV coverage is not always indicative of what is going on.
Excellent post.Absolutely spot on.

“Having Tanguy back will be like a new signing” 👍

( the room falls silent. The crowd turns. United in anger. The pitch forks are raised and new Tottenham Boss Graham Potter runs from the room. July 2022 )

Yea, imagine that...
We could have got another Sanchez instead of Romero!
We could have got another N'Koudou instead of Kulu.
We could have got another Ndombele instead of Bentancur.
Tanguy was such a waste. So much talent and yet he can't even perform up to 50% of his standard since he is lazy and lacked passion or consistency.

Such a waste.....

Ok so he’s fucked it at Lyon, is this the final point where that chip will leave his shoulder and he’ll start knuckling down? He’ll be back here this summer

Will 'X' be the impetus for Ndombele to finally knuckle down is the modern football equivalent of the "Is this the year that Spurs sign Damaio" meme.
