Kane doesn’t really fit the way England play. He’s there for the penalties etc but we don’t play to him like Bayern do. Get him in to shooting positions regularly, he scores.
Pointless him being out there in games like this, you’re waiting for a moment. Madueke at the moment is doing the whole Sterling thing where he’s allergic to cutting it back.
Against this kind of setup you want to pull them in as many directions as possible.

I'd started supporting Spurs a year or so before but the first game I can really remember watching was England vs Brazil. What a fucking game too, one of the best ever tackles and the still the finest ever save I've seen.

Yeah. Started supporting Spurs in 68 but as I lived abroad I don't think I actually saw them play live or on TV until 72.
Do recall watching England v Brazil and England v West Germany on TV in 70 though.
