linnet_spur linnet_spur R3NW5 R3NW5 - Lynn won today and have been promoted to one of the conference regional leagues, which I believe equals the highest they've ever been up the pyramid.

Yeah. Very pleased for them. The comeback is complete - I think they should be conference national being a club of their size though. Has been a decent journey. That title fight with Long Buckby in 2012 was exciting.

The old club suffered a really sad and quiet demise and really wasn’t spoken about in national media. The debts were less than £100k, so easily could have been donated by a couple of prem clubs. To see Lynn rise from those ashes is pretty terrific.

Truth be told Lynn should really be my club, not Spurs as I grew up going to the games - but it’s hard to support a NL club if you no longer live anywhere near it or even close to other teams in the league!

Conference Play Off Final Attendances.

2010 - Oxford 3 Vs 1 York - 42,669.
2011 - Wimbledon 0 Vs 0 Luton - 18,995. (Wimbledon 4-3 on pens).
2012 - Luton 1 Vs 2 York - 39,265.
2013 - Wrexham 0 Vs 2 Newport - 16,345.
2014 - Cambridge 2 Vs 1 Gateshead - 19,613.
2015 - Bristol Rovers 1 Vs 1 Grimsby - 47,029. (Rovers 5-3 on pens).
2016 - Forest Green 1 Vs 3 Grimsby - 17,198.
2017 - Forest Green 3 Vs 1 Tranmere - 18,801.
2018 - Boreham Wood 1 Vs 2 Tranmere - 16,307.
2019 - Salford 3 Vs 0 Fylde - 8,049.

Average for the last ten years is just over 24k. In my opinion time to move this from Wembley. Perhaps Old Trafford or our new stadium.

I get that the trip and the day out to Wembley is exciting for the fans but as we know only too well a full stadium makes it even better no matter the size of the crowd. A full 25k stadium will always be better than a 1/4 full one.

Two games at Wembley today...🤦🏻‍♂️

After Wilkinson left for 'non footballing reasons' last week, there is a new man at the helm of the mighty stones.

Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Dean Brennan as first team manager on a two-year contract. Dean will be joined at the club by assistant and former Wealdstone player Stuart Maynard.
