Lynn still top of the North. Could be facing each other in the Conference next year.
The Blue and Gold boys are 4 points clear with 2 games in hand over York who they beat 1-0 this weekend.
First season in the league too. Going for back to back promotions.

You want sum? We'll give it ya! :wansum:

Hungerford Town won’t now be relegated although they are a bit adrift at the bottom of the league. Tough on Wealdstone though.
Shocking decision IMHO and devastating for clubs who had put all of their investment and focus into e.g. a successful promotion. It does save one of my non league teams though (Lewes FC) who were in free fall. And I wouldn’t mind a wiping of the 2019/20 campaign across European leagues and competitions. Obvs.

I don’t think the decision to not promote from Step 2 has been taken yet. King’s Lynn and York are in a similar situation to the stones.

No Promotion/relegation from/to step 3, but they haven’t completely ruled out movement between step 1 & 2 of the NL pyramid yet. Unless I’ve missed that in the last 36/48 hours or so.

National League Statement: Competition Suspended Indefinitely

 11 minutes ago - By Oliver Osborn

The National League Board met earlier today and has reviewed its prior decision to suspend the competition until at least 3rd April 2020.
In consideration of the very serious and unprecedented national public health emergency caused by the coronavirus, the Board has taken the decision to suspend the National League, National League North and National League South competitions indefinitely.
The National League is currently obtaining specialist legal advice, is consulting regularly with The Football Association and other stakeholders, and is committed to involving its member clubs in a pending decision on how best to conclude the 2019/20 season.

HITCHIN RETRO – ENFIELD TICKETS
Posted by ClubAdmin on Friday 5th June 2020
“Tickets” are now on sale for fans to view the screening of our first Hitchin Retro game. Our first game will be the Season 1993-94 Diadora Isthmian League Premier Division clash between Enfield and Hitchin Town, played at Enfield’s Southbury Road ground on Tuesday 28th September 1993.
The game will be made available to view from 19:00 onwards on Tuesday 16th June, and the “tickets”, costing £5 for all Adults and £2 for Teenagers, will be on sale up until 19:00 on the day when the screening will be available.
We hope that fans will get behind this new venture, as we have a number of classic retro games for future screening, including all of the FA Cup classics from the 1990s. Our first game features a dodgy centre back in the No.4 shirt in the Hitchin team – well worth the “admission” money on his own.
“Tickets” can be bought by clicking here.

I have been to Hitchin quite a few times in the past, it's a nice place to watch the game. Always remember a very odd one with my local team Chesham in about 2002 which was a 5-5 draw, you don't see that so often...

Yep it's got a cracking old school feel. And is also in quite a decent part of town so a good selection of pubs within 5/10 minute walks. Had a good FA Cup run two years ago but ended up with Solihull in Round 1 when they could have got Coventry / Sunderland / Luton etc. Still sold the place out with 3,000 but reality is usually no more than a few hundred. I'm as guilty as everyone, normally at Spurs and tough for a club at that level especially with Luton and Stevenage nearby.

Absolutely - everyone owes a visit to their local team, Top Field has always been a pitch that drains well, so when other games got postponed you could go there, the wooden stands there were pretty charming.

Non League clubs are going to have a real struggle to restart but their capacity is something that does land on their side, most grounds take about 3k and with 25% capacity can still easily accomodate the average crowds at Southern Premier level.

If some professional teams do have to reduce capacity I hope people will turn to their local clubs.

I think a lot of football people do support local football where they can. The trouble is, with so many organisations struggling right now - sports clubs, charities, community stuff etc - there isn’t enough money to go round them all. My own ‘economy’ is suffering a bit right now too. Not happy times.
