Agree. It might as well be called 'the Man Utd rule' it seems so transparent.I really hope they don't bring this in.
It's little more than safety net for Uefa's biggest money makers in case they fail to get in.
United. Barcelona etc.

Wilson will definitely be getting an injury , if Trips mates all have a bet he will be getting a banTheir last home game of the season, with Trippier and Wilson back, they are getting something out of that game
Fuck that, means I have to cheer on other English clubs in Europe. I guess on the flipside West Ham getting us CL football would have been funny.
There's also a scenario that we are 3rd on sunday, if Chelsea lose v Leeds tomorrow that is. Step by step though, this is Tottenham Hotspur after all.Such a shame we’re not neck and neck and a win putting us above them, but it is what it is. That’s our own fault. That being said, we’re still in with a shout and giving these pricks a good beating Thursday will hopefully dent their confidence. It will also give us an opportunity to go 4th in the table if we beat Burnley. This would really heap pressure on Woolwich going into the Newcastle game. We can do it, come on!!!

Hope you are right. They sure as hell turned up last day of the 2016 season.i think they will give it everything, also coming off a 5-0 hiding from city is a good thing imo.
It’s a bitter irony that our beating Burnley would make Everton safeAnyone can get pumped by City but I mentioned before how Newcastle are shit (maybe even worse pre Saudi cash) against the big teams and have only really got better against relegation fodder, they try to play with a kind of swagger now that's just not suited against better teams.
BUT they will be the ones who will have to take points off them as I think Everton will be home and dry by the final game of the season so we won't get any special performance from them.
I completely don't care what happens to "other" teams unless it directly hurts THFC.It’s a bitter irony that our beating Burnley would make Everton safe
Typical
It would directly hurt us because Everton wont be required to beat WoolwichI completely don't care what happens to "other" teams unless it directly hurts THFC.
I wanted Newcastle to beat City.
Doesn’t make much difference imo. In some ways, the pressure will be off and they can just go and play vs Arsenl if they are safe. Pressure is on GoonsIt would directly hurt us because Everton wont be required to beat Woolwich
Why would you think I give a fuck about Everton ?
dont do this to yourselves lol.Yes I’m waiting for the outcome of that Leeds game first before thinking that scenario. If Leeds beat Chelsea at home and we beat Woolwich Thursday, then us 3 are literally neck and neck going into the last 2 games
Chelsea only have to beat Watford at home on last day of the season. Roy and their players couldn’t give a fuck and have been on the beach for weeks.Yes I’m waiting for the outcome of that Leeds game first before thinking that scenario. True though it would be us or Woolwich not utd who benefited this year if the rule was in place.Agree. It might as well be called 'the Man Utd rule' it seems so transparent.
If and big if we beat Woolwich i'd be really concerned about Burnley. They would have had 8 days to prepare, fighting for their lives, a dreaded lunchtime kick off when we're generally flat, potential over confidence after hopefully beating Woolwich. Its got all the ingredients for another Brighton type game. Still one game at a time i suppose.Doesn’t make much difference imo. In some ways, the pressure will be off and they can just go and play vs Arsenl if they are safe. Pressure is on Goons
That KO time vs Burnley is a shitter for us.
They need 4 points in last 3 games if we win our games.Chelsea only have to beat Watford at home on last day of the season. Roy and their players couldn’t give a fuck and have been on the beach for weeks.
They’ll still be half cut if they’re safeDoesn’t make much difference imo. In some ways, the pressure will be off and they can just go and play vs Arsenl if they are safe. Pressure is on Goons

This … could do with Watford getting a resultwhat we need is for Everton to go on another small shit run. We want Everton bang in that relegation race end of the season. They go to Woolwich with something to play for, they can easily get something
