He's taken them as far as he can.
West Ham have been toilet this year but they have lost as many games in the last ten as we have, apparently.

As grim as it sounds, we’re 5 points off all conquering Woolwich in second place. Liverpool and Southampton aside, the league has been much closer this year with teams nicking points off each other. Liverpool will win it, Southampton will finish rock bottom and the other 18 could be any order.
I half fancied United until I saw their fixture list for the next couple of months - the new manager bounce could wear off quickly
