Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sane is free so 200k... Yes I think we will pay it... Eze... I was saying we should make sure that whatever it costs... We should do it... If not.. Give us your alternatives?
We won’t pay Sane £200k a week mate and he’s probably on more than that at Bayern.
We should 100% go for Eze but we won’t get him. I don’t have alternatives because I’d love to see those types at our club but we are not shopping in that league even though we could and should.
No point saying we should go for this guy or that guy because I know where we are at. I could throw names about like
Eze
Sane
Sesko
Gyokeres
Guehi

They will not be Tottenham players next season. Every one of them will want the guts of £200k a week
and apart from Sane the rest will cost £70 million plus. Not happening.

You honestly think we’ll pay the fee for Eze and pay him accordingly and pay Sane £200k a week? Have you just landed on planet Tottenham?
We won’t sign Eze
Sane has never been an option because of wages.
Gomes is a possibility because he’ll cost us nothing and low wages. This is how we operate. 😂😂😂
Mate I been planet Tottenham since you was still taking your mother's milk... 200k a week is not unrealistic these days and yes I think we would do it... Eze... I honestly thinks he wants it... So again yes... Gomes I honestly think it's almost done... So again yes.

Need a free transfer.

Circa £200k pw.

Need some pace on the wing, and ability to play through the middle.

Looking to the Bundesleiga for options.

Need experience, maybe an international who has scored against us in the Champions League, maybe won stuff.

Well, it’s got to be one option right ?

Right ?

Well maybe come out if the dark ages and you’ll realise that what you think will happen won’t.

100% agree - 200K should not be at all unrealistic for the 9th richest club in the world.

But we are run by Daniel Levy so we don't have a single player on 200K or more at the present time ... Will we do it for Eze? I sure hope so - but do I believe so? ...

Yes we have done it before but these guys are now wanting even more because they know they can get that whether it’s in the prem or even Saudi. I don’t think we are in that market now. I hope I’m wrong.

Now you're talking about "more"..... You're moving the goalposts.

But un-intentionally you're actually underlining my point for me.... 200kpw was worth more in 2019 than it is now; and we were prepared to pay it then, so why not now?

Can someone clear this up for me, 'cause I might be wrong.

But didn't we build a multi-event stadium so we could support paying higher wages to get higher calibre players and compete at a high level in a sustained way at the top end of the table?

Wasn't that the plan?

Wasn't that how it was sold to us?
C'mon bruv - You know the answer to this.

The PLAN is to build a hotel and develop other real estate using club revenues: the money we pay for season tickets and merch. I still love the club but eyes wide open on what's going on here with ENIC/Levy/Lewis and why we have lowest wage to turnover ratio of any club in a Top 5 league. Real estate development is where the money is going instead of player wages.

Construction underway on 29-storey Spurs hotel as club aims for 2028 completion

To Levy's credit, the club arn't hiding this - so straight from the club website (link below) - "Meet the team" - The first team squad bios below (the players on the pitch very much the second team) - I'd bet the team members below making 200K per week or more ... never mind the real estate lawyers, construction company building the hotel, etc. Where do you think the money to pay these firms and construct the hotel is coming from?
