I don’t think we can know definitely if we were in for Eze or not so I won’t get agitated just yet . However I think most people on here would accept to be competitive we need at least 3 experienced high quality players . We now have CL so cannot coast the group stage games , we need first eleven or serious competition for first eleven positions .
To give Frank anything less is setting him up to fail imho. Furthermore if in his first two transfer windows he says he is happy with kids and cheap punts he might be being economical with the truth.

I really hope we get Eze though , might be a bit of a luxury player but I wash with Imperial Leather soap.

Rodon - Break even
Clarke - 5m loss.
Sessengon - 30m down the shitter.
Gil - Probably a token fee.... I'd hazard a 15m loss.
Veliz - Approx 9m loss.
mate?? what are we doing here??

Youre focusing on whether they made us a loss and how big the loss is. We bought those players for a combined 90m to improve us and they all produced the square root of fuck all on the pitch.

Whats the wages on all that? about 170k combined? That 90m would have been better spent signing two 45m proven players, one 90m elite player, one 65m proven player and a 25m punt etc etc etc

Hoarding, hoarding, hoarding, taking cheap punts blah blah. As my uncle used to say "buying cheap is expensive" RIP.

According to danish news : Nørgaard deal fell thru , Spurs have started talks with Jonathan Ward , Semenyo deal halted due to 69m pricetag , Spurs optimistic about making a deal with Eze , Thomas Frank also interrested in Kudus after Mbeumo went to ManU. I would take all this with a grain of salt though...

I'm probably exaggerating. I just know we've had his family in a box the last 2 seasons and have done untold groundwork. We've been trying to find ways to pay his release clause for the last 12 months, and I was under the opinion that we'd finally cracked it and were set to exercise it next week. Maybe Eze was always holding out for something else. I just got the impression he wanted to come to us. There is no doubt he told us he'd come but that was before our rivals came in.
Let's just ask Hercules or Trix after we've sent 100 quid to their PayPal.

Pal, that Dudu makes Ionman sound like a nice, down-to-earth, humble guy. He contributes absolutely nothing to the forum, just comes on here to shit on people's opinions. Probably cause he knows eff all about the beautiful game.
You're at me again? I still haven't received a reply to my invitation to come and see me so you can "tell me to my face" what you think of me you Brown nosed toad.

Got your nose out of D's arse long enough to post I see.

Just so I can align myself with these evening's offerings...

Have the enic-out troupe orchestrated a pitchfork sharpening off the basis of some random Twitter post saying Eze wants to join Woolwich, from someone whos bio is "Spent years and thousands of £s on a journalism degree.Ended up leaking team news on twitter"

:mourweird:

Again it's personal opinion. I rate him you don't.

England have been flying without him in the squad so I get that.
It's not personal opinions, it's numbers and they don't lie.

0 apps & 0 goals for Chelsea. 21 apps for Liverpool...1 goal. First PL stint for B'mouth: 42 played, 3 scored. Second stint: 71 games, 25 goals. 9 in 27 for us...after signing for 65 mil, which was ridiculous for a guy who'd only scored more than 10 PL goals once (in 7 seasons).

27 years old, 3 England caps...obviously never scored.

I like big Dom and I respect how hard he works, but if we were a serious club that genuinely wanted to challenge for top honours he'd be nowhere near our squad, let alone first XI. He's a West Ham or Everton type player really.
