Don’t understand why people keep talking about a LB signing. With the emergence of Spence I personally don’t think we need. We have now

Depends on how many competitions we are playing in next season.
Spence definitely relieves the pressure but we still need another left-footed defender imo. One like Hincapie who plays LB and LCB. Davies is super reliable but he isn't the long term answer.

Davies isn’t quick enough for LB, neither is Gray or Donley. You need at least 4 full backs if you are fighting and looking to win in multiple competitions.

Agree, let's play the players in their best positions, 2 players per role. The problem with Spence also at LB is that he often needs to take an extra touch before turning back inside rather than hit a curling outside to in pass around his opponent to left winger. That is he has the ability to dribble around his opponent like last game but in situations where he can't do that we tend to get boxed in, that's why it's important to have a left footer there. Him and Porro for RB is just about as good a RB pairing in world football and allows Gray to go into midfield.

I reckon KWP. He’s not a starter but he is a decent backup and most importantly is a +1 to our squad due to CT.
Also he is free in the summer and we love a bargain. Means we can throw money elsewhere.
