ONLY in PL squad, which is easy to get right for Spurs.

In CL squad all those players do not count as List B and therefore take up a squad place. Even now we have TWO players too many to fit into CL squad.

Any player joining (and most existing players) will hate to be left out of CL and will regard those in CL squad as first team with any others only in PL squad as 'squad players' . Not only that but most player contracts give win and playing bonuses so NOT being in CL squad translates as lower pay. So players regard NOT being in CL squad as a clear indication club doesn't really value them and will ask agents to find them another club.

That's why its important to build the squad eligible for CL with possibly a couple of players in PL squad and NOT playing in CL

Worth a quick reminder that Frank and Lange know each other very well - even to the extent of sharing an office 20 years ago at another club.

So wouldn't surprise me if they've had conversations about which players might be leaving and which might be good joiners for several weeks already.

I really like him and don’t understand why so many here want to sell him. He’s only 22 with his best football ahead of him. He covers so much ground and we don’t have anyone who does that as much.

So far: Son, Yang, Odobert, Tyl, Moore, Johnson, Richarlison, Manor Solomon
PS! Yes, I know that Son, Solomon and Richarlison may be sold and that Moore and Yang most probably will be loaned out...but, hopefully, Moore and Yang will return ready to play in the EPL for Spurs...

I didn’t say drop Maddison. I simply said that midfield would have legs. We can’t have one main midfield trio. We can drop Sarr in some games and drop Maddison in some games as well . Horses for courses.

Suspect that wasn't the full quote and he would have finished it by saying sth like "but he's a Spurs player and we don't speak about other clubs players"

either way, that kind of comment is only likely to add 10m on the price coming from Levy. Really think Romero stays this summer.

When Sarr was bought we thought him a potential world beater - currently he's a powerful runner but not great at passing etc. Not on anyone's must sell list. But equally has not developed as quickly as we'd hoped - he's fallen behind 19 year old Bergvall for example - so has become a useful squad player.

And to upgrade the squad overall sometimes its the squad players that need to be sacrificed

How long is Kulu out for? Probably can leave him out of the first phase of CL squad, depending on his recovery/fitness date.

Can probably leave Romero and VDV out of the champions league squad - they will be injured after the first few games.

Yeah probably another one but tbh Kulusevski will come into the CL squad when he's fit, Dragusin maybe (probably) won't. If we sign a CB this summer then we are selling a CB and I wonder if that will be Dragusin because Italian teams love him.

I’d say he looks quite Sancho-y. Very skillfull but not with a real explosive change of pace. Always gonna be a risk adapting to the PL.

A patella operation is usually six months out minimum, so we’re looking at November earliest. Most likely December or New Year.

No date put on it by club so some fans took 'average recovery times for a worse than average' injury and broadcast Christmas.

But watching what player is saying, he's very positive about September eg. Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski now issues positive update on his injury which will please Thomas Frank
