He is past it. Ndika is rubbish too. Tapsoba is decent. Ditto Jonathan David these are not elite players. Ekitike should be a target and obviously Oshimen but you know we are poorGlad we didnt get Tah. Seen him on tv for bayern in couldntgiveafuck club world cup. Hes a carthorse. Fazio was slower though.
We spent 65M on Solanke and he was 27?The question is. If Eze really was a target (which I don't believe for a minute as its not the type of business we do, £70m on a 27 year old with presumably a large wage demand)
But putting that aside lets assume for a micro second that we were really in for him.
Why the fuck did we sit on this and not get the personal terms sewn up earlier, meaning that we've allowed another club to steal a march on us??
Why are we so fucking inept?
Id quite like ekitike but have vibe hes yearning for the gooners or liverpool. He is past it. Ndika is rubbish too. Tapsoba is decent. Ditto Jonathan David these are not elite players. Ekitike should be a target and obviously Oshimen but you know we are poor
I reckon they will target a goalkeeper next and cover just in case.
No rush lads…

"They are preparing the list together with Thomas Frank. So at the moment, there could be plenty of names before they decide who is the player they want. For sure. One player they appreciate already, since last summer, is Eberechi Eze, who did fantastically this season at Crystal Palace. And so he remains one of the targets in the list at Spurs.
"But at the moment still not an active negotiation, because they are still assessing all the options and then deciding who is the player they want to sign." - Fabrizio Romano
Well they’re after a team of strikers. No problems we’ll just get in another three or four CBs and we should have them coveredST: Nkunku, Jackson, Guiu, Delap, Pedro, Fofana
Not idea what their squad planning is
David is shit, a poor man’s Johnson. He would fail miserably in the eplHe is past it. Ndika is rubbish too. Tapsoba is decent. Ditto Jonathan David these are not elite players. Ekitike should be a target and obviously Oshimen but you know we are poor
High wages by themselves are not as bad as some seem to make out.i think we can spend on transfers and not on wages because the fees can be spread out and paid over time. is that a correct assumption? the idea that we're cash poor sounds very plausible to me.
i'm not a finance person but i've always guessed that levy ran a very tight ship with the books. he doesn't seem to like to overspend or get in the red at all whereas our competitors may color outside the lines more or simply have more cash on hand. i'd guess during the stadium build we had financials requirements connected to the financing and we're prob still bound by that somewhat now.
not trying to give levy too much credit tho. i think enic should be committing way more to the football club just as the clubs above us seem to. otherwise you're just a real estate/live event company.

Omishen on a free would cost 78m, 300k pw over 5yrs.
Solanke costs us around 88m, 90k pw and 65m transfer.
Spending 10m more on a lower level player because we won't pay high wages doesn't make sense.
Says it all reallyLast 10 signings Dragusin, Bergvall, Gray, Solanke, Odobert, Yang, Kinsky, Danso, Tel, Takei.
But like when we said we weren’t interested in Julian N after conte got sacked.
During the 70/80s they still signed big name players and constantly spent big money. No diff now.Or maybe because they're a huge club that's won a zillion big things over the past few decades. And one that, though struggling big time now, will surely bounce back soon enough.
Almost agree with you there as I have been saying something similar but more on the lines of stop buying unknown youngsters fromYeah now that we've missed out on Eze I'm thinking we just sign nobody and use Donley and Moore next year. They both look ready. It could be short term pain for long term gain. I remember being initially dissapointed that dele alli was playing regularly for us because he was just a kid and then he just took off. Players need exposure.
Fuck getting Semenyo or someone worse. If you can't sign the best players then just give your own guys the chance! Donley could be sufficient cover for Maddison.
