Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There are some other factors to consider. Players on high wages are close to impossible to sell (part of the reason United can't get rid of their shite - and also why we had to pay off Ndombelly and Dele to leave).
Yeah I get there are other factors involved. Paying a high transfer fee as well as high wages can easily turn disastrous with the wrong player. But if you get good players on a free transfer then the high wages have less impact.

I have no idea if city were good in league cup finals i have no idea if wigan or Portsmouth were good in fa cup finals. Most people would be the same. But scumb came second a few time's is in your memory.

:frankwtf:

OMG, you just keep twisting an changing.

YOU made the point that nobody will remember we were shit.....IE 17th in the leahue, 22 defeats and utterly awful. They'll just remember we won a cup.
This isn't about 1 game in the final. It's about a heavily heavily tainted season.

CL qualification for everyone else = Add to the squad and improve.

CL qualification for Spurs = Sell established player and replace with kid from obscure league for 5m. Sign youngster for 35m that failed on loan.

Bombshell: Tottenham and Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of "Cuti" Romero.

The World Cup-winning defender with the Argentine national team is one of the players sought by "Cholo" Diego Simeone for his defense. Like never before, the former Belgrano de Córdoba player is close to joining the Atlético squad. Details.

The transfer market in the Old Continent is starting to move amid the Club World Cup finals. While on vacation with his family, Cristian "Cuti" Romero's move to Atlético Madrid is moving forward thanks to an agreement in principle with Tottenham Hotspur.
This weekend, both institutions reached an understanding in their talks, and the defender, who won a world championship with the "Albiceleste" in Qatar 2022, is close to joining the ranks of "Cholo" Diego Simeone for a fee of €55,000,000 plus €10,000,000 in variables.
Despite these important steps, the pending issue regarding the transfer of the Córdoba defender is no less important. This will continue next week with the expectation of a successful outcome
