oh my god you absolute clown, son couldn’t run anymore but still got 7 goals and 9 assists.. he was by a distance our best chance creator because he can actually kick.

And it wasn’t Johnson G/A either - he created from situations where individual moments were needed.

Yes he was cooked but his contributions still needed replacing. Our ‘young and hungry’ brigade might get you 4-5 contributions a season.

Son needed to go but he needed a mega star level replacement, someone who could somewhat adequately replace what he’s given us for seasons, loads of contributions and also star, match winning quality. A talisman.

Instead we got a couple of kids who have like 2 prem goals between them. It’s a disgrace. And anyone justifying it is one as well.

I was thinking about Sonny and Ange. Feel like that fat cunt accelerated his physical decline. With a slower decline (a natural one not accelerated by idiotic training and match tactics) Sonny could still be good for 15 goals this season in the PL.

Fucked our other players, too.

Kane was on that team.

I don't want to imagine there are posters here who weren't alive for Les Ferdinand and Steffen Iversen, but there probably are aren't there?

Kane wasn’t world class / elite in the 2013/14 season. He got 3 goals in 10 games.

Unless you are counting him because he would become world class. But then you’re begging the question.

Donley’s a bit different for me. He’s excelled at every level he’s gone to so far. Led that U21 to glory as their key player, smashed it at Orient last season after a tricky start. If he kicks on at Stoke, he should get a chance with the 1st team IMO.
I agree, he obviously has talent but 21 in January he really needs another really good season. Given the circumstances i'd have kept him around until January at least.

If he’d played this season I’d still back him to contribute to 10 goals .. because he can still whip in a ball, finish a chance, bang one in from 30 yards etc. Like Bale could when he came back.

I’m very comfortable letting him go but the replacement needed to be huge. We already replaced Kane with much of muchness. Our replacement for the deadliest ever PL duo is Solanke, Maddison and .. Tel?

Fuuuuuck sake.

Also hilarious, seeing as MGW was supposedly one of our main wants and this clearly demonstrates that none of the special folk at the office had the foresight to think of some alternatives in case that didn't work out. Only now that we're even further in the shit. Well done everyone involved

💯

Feels as though once MGW fell through they were like, “oh well, we tried. Let’s stick to what we have.”

Uh, the game at Selhurst park this season he was brilliant, controlled the midfield and made ours look like duffers.

Wharton at 20 was making an England squad. At 19 he was worth 20m having played in the championship. There is a gulf in actual talent between him and Palhinha.

The only reason he isn’t currently at a top 6 club is because palace want 100m+ for him which yeah .. is silly.

He’s had very many dominant, wonderful performances. His sole issue/worry is the fitness record.

Yes talent (so what might be sometimes) and money number/valuation (100 mil and 80 mil) .
So that is what matters yeah? I already understood that much.

I am sure he also has had good performances, but from all the game I've seen he never has impressed me as much as Palhinha did in every game he played against us.

But as I said - let the actual football being played be judge here. Specially in Palace vs Spurs games.

I think the same as Tel, we made it permanent because we paid such a high loan fee and dont want to write it off despite all the evidence. We're like a gambling addict chasing their money.
Staying on the gambling analogies I aways think we’re like those people who put down £30 on a ten fold accumulater rather than more on a well researched even money shot or shorter. You end up spending more for your money.

Have they tried the middle aisle at Lidl?
Why are they only calling around now. Just smells like panic. Like when one of your mates drops out of the lads holiday last minute and you're frantically phoning around blokes who didn't get invited originally and who haven't booked holidays with a different group of lads. You just end up with Stinky John and worse still you have pay for his flight and accommodation.

This post is funny but it’s far closer to the truth than people realize. Levy isn’t just tight and incompetent for his own sake, he holds the fans in active contempt. He laughs at us and has no issues mugging us off to prove a point. He is actively testing the line of shite we will accept. He does not respect us fans, he views us as simpleton cash cows. It is a downright adversarial relationship from the sociopathic bald cunt towards his pathetic underlings.

The gloating Neville interview was very much intentional. He is evil.
