Yep, if people are completely short sighted which they are they will whine. He looks crushed by the weight of our shirt. He is a Welsh wide forward at the club of Jones and Bale. This isn't the place for him no matter what he does elsewhere. He should have used their history to motivate and push him on. That hasn't happened. Let him go get better wish him well.

Incredibly unlikely that 'players plus cash deals' ever work, but I'd chuck Tel and Bentancur in on that deal as well if it got it over the line.

I mean he scored 8 league goals for an uber-wank Forest team so I reckon he'll be good for at least 10 goals a season if he's playing pretty regularly at Palace. There will 100% be people saying we shoulda kept him when it happens, completely ignoring the countless times an entire third of the pitch was a dead-zone for us in possession cos every team worth their salt knew pressing Johnson a little bit meant he'd cough up the ball instantly.
No ill will against the guy but I'd be shocked if I ever see a Spurs winger who is so fundamentally awful at all of the football basics you'd expect from a wide player. He'll always be a cult hero for Bilbao and he's a lovely finisher, but dear god I won't miss seeing his name on the teamsheet.
As for replacing him, we've been linked to a ton of left wingers, so clearly that's a point of priority. In reality, Kudus was his replacement and the new signing will, ideally, be more of a legit Son replacement.

I haven't watched this bloke enough but I did watch Gyökeres and I'll stake all I have on Vlahovic being an EPL donkey. Be very wary of players using a physical edge in the Primera to bag goals it does NOT scale up and I could see it a mile away with Gyökeres despite the oddly strident backing on here from some.
