Would be an absolutely terrific signing. Exactly the type of character we need. A proper winner. Buzzing about this.
Watched him play every week for my beloved Dundee United in his first season of professional football, as a skinny teenager with the same drive and determination he has now. Always had a bit of pride watching him have the career he’s had, despite the team he’s at. He’s done everything there is to do in the game, PL winner, CL winner, captained Scotland to both the World Cup and the Euros.
Very excited to actually be able to support him at club level again, 12 years later.
I just think there’s a positive way to change the situation and a negative self destructive way to do it and openly disrespecting the manager is the later.

As a backup to Udogie, I think Robertson is a clever signing. Seems to have the right mentality/leadership qualities we need too.

I bet the talks are amicable, we are giving them money for a player they were guaranteed to get nothing for this summer
He’s certainly the profile of player mentality wise we should be targeting, but surely the guy has run out of juice to play at the highest level?

Gallas did bring that with him even if his contribution was short lived.
I suppose the one thing you can say that with Robertson and Gallagher is that they're trying to get a bit more leadershop and charachter in the side which we really lack and despite their age/limitations both are currently first team players. Not sure its that inspiring though or much of a statement of intent but at least we'll have more in the way of fight
With Ben Davies being out with a long term injury this move makes sense imo
