Club needs 3 players IMO

LB: Spence is a RB
CM: elite passer
LW:

They need to be top draw though, no point bringing in fillers, might as well let Odobert or Tel fight for the LW if it’s an average signings.

We really need £150m on 3 elite players not £150m on 7-8 players. The striker situation is more difficult as we don’t know if Mauni is the one or Solanke comes back plus it’s really hard to buy a top striker.
wouldnt mind that ederson from atalanta for CM, he looks like hes made for the prem too. wharton is the dream but its never happening, unless the lewis kids really, really mean business.

udogie needs to be replaced all together, ship him back to italy, hes useless.

LW should be easy to upgrade, easiest position at the club to upgrade right now.

He was wrong for what he did, absolutely, but should that be held against him forever? If his girlfriend forgave him, stayed with him and has had kids with him, they are still together , then surely everyone else should move on and judge him for what he is doing now and not the past.

Like has been said a lot of our fans still consider Gazza a legend despite his domestic violence abuse against his ex wife.

I don't forget so quickly. My barometer is if it was someone close to me.

....As to whether she has 'forgiven' him; given what we know about domestic violence, that's no indicator as to whether or not he's a changed man.

He should be in prison.

True but his selling point is his all round game. The reason City and Liverpool are probably linked is due to his general game, his pressing, defending, ball carrying, ball retention and dribbling are top draw. His goal scoring is the weaker part of his game comparatively.
Yeah, regardless of his attacking output (which is still way better than our other LW options) he just makes us a much better all-round team.

My sense is THFCxDUFC could well be right and Semenyo wouldn't be some absolutely game-changing signing - we might be able to find better if we're very cute in the market. Strikes me as more of a Kudus level signing than a potential superstar like Son was (although miles better than Johnson...c'mon).

But if we just want a solid, PL proven, peak-age player that we can plug-in-and-play he's the best option. Instantly makes one of our worst positions a genuine strength. Him and Kudus on the wings would be a fucking nightmare to play against for any team.

If it's a straight choice between us and Pool presumably he picks them. I think he'd be silly to go to City given their forward options, though. Could easily get buried there.

No, he definitely is better than Johnson, no question. My point is I worry he’d be another one like Johnson & Kudus, where they’re good at certain things but lack other parts of the game, along with the consistency required to really be a top level player.

I get that wingers by their nature are extremely inconsistent, but the difference between a Semenyo/Kudus/Johnson and a world class winger like Son is that Son could go missing for 4-5 games at a time and still finish the season with 20 goals and 10 assists, so you can make an exception for their barren runs.

I don’t see Semenyo ever reaching that level, but I could be wrong, he might go to Liverpool and step up like Mane did, and I’ll look stupid.

Maybe £60m is the new £25m and we’d be daft not to have a punt on him, but we better be prepared to spend another £60m if he doesn’t work out cause we badly need top level players and can’t keep persisting with expensive punts like Johnson and Solanke in the hope that they’re suddenly gonna reach that level.

Charles De Ketelaere is the player i'd love at Spurs.

1. We've had good luck with the Belgians
2. He can play anywhere across the front (LW/CAM/RW)
3. He's 6'4 so physically built for the Prem
4. He tore that lot from West LDN a new one the other night

A Kudus Muani Semenyo attack would be a very physically dominate attack that would overpower most teams in the league but you would still need Simons or Maddison in behind to add the creative edge.

Chelsea have taken a shine to Jadiel Pereira da Gama and are determined to sign him from PEC Zwolle, sources have told TEAMtalk, but there is interest in the teenager from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, too.

We understand that Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City are leading the chase for 15-year-old defensive midfielder Pereira da Gama.

Pereira da Gama is a special talent, given that he is already playing first-team football at the age of 15.

'We really need £150m on 3 elite players'

That is never going to happen in January.

Despite his seventeen goal season and EL winning goal, I haven't seen him progress at all on the field.

Put his play alongside that of Kudus and Johnson will never hit those levels of ability.

Kulu to return, and Tel, Xavi, and Odobert as options on the left then he simply does not fit into the team, unless he wants to bench warm?

Sell and put that money towards improving the central midfield, left back or left wing.

Saw an article today we're interested in bringing the Parrot back
To replace the Pigeon perhaps? :richclosed:
I still think we need an elite left winger. I'd like us to go big and get kenan yildiz from Juventus

Is he any good? What’s his best position? Should we be tempted?

Spurs fan isn't he??
It's supposed to work like that, right?

Mbuemo's a Mam Utd fan... Eze's a fucking Gooner...
Seemed to be the deciding factor in both THEIR transfers... So why don't we get a coupla Yids in?? ARE there any others knocking about, or was it only ever Jamie O'Hara & Ryan Mason

Yeah, I'm just gonna say... with the surname and the photo, they really didn't need to bother with the last sentence!!!

Pretty sure he said he was a bit of a spurs fan because he idolised Kane.

I can't remember when it came about. 4 or 5 years ago. Can't find anything to back it up but I'm sure he was linked then and said something along those lines
