Takai as a punt I get, Tel was a very expensive signing, I hope he makes it here but I just don't see it unfortunately
Thing is its a very good thing to do if you're good at it as we generally were from Simon Davies through to Dele Alli, mainly thanks to Pleat. But other clubs have got much better at spotting this talent whilst we've got progressively worse.

Was a levy signing - a relatively routine to do commercially. Selling club didn’t want to keep him, no other interested clubs, fairly low wages etc
I do like that we are seeing a lot of selling activity, that’s a good sign. Now we need to bring proven quality in - that’s what these lot will be judged on. I can live with Ivan Toney as a short term gap if we bought in Savinho and a CM
Solanke's been training with the rest of the team, so maybe that's put an end for any need to get a striker in January. I doubt Richarlison will want to move before the summer, he's put not bad numbers up so far and with the World Cup on the horizon. If that is inspiring him then so be it.
Come the summer I'd be happy if the club replaced both Solanke and Richarlison.

Tel wasn’t even a punt, it was obvious he wasn’t good enough to improve the team from the loan but we signed him anyway.
